Sorry, but I don't think that's quite true. Yes I've seen posts by a few people on here and reddit who have had payment issues and locked themselves out, but a handful of people vs the hundreds of thousands that play every month?

The 30/90/180 day subscriptions have been there since 2.0 launch. Possibly they were there in 1.0, but I can't remember that far back :D I know I've been on 180 day since the start though and although my second account was initially 30 days at a time, that's now on 180 days as well and both of them got the mounts in the first wave.

Just depends when your subscription dates are, but if you're only paying month-to-month, it's impossible to get it in the first wave.

Sorry but the campaign dates as they apply to people who sub for 180 at a shot are bogus. People who have maintained 180 day renewable subscription should have automatically qualified for the Sept release as long as their current subscription does not expire prior to 1 Oct 2017. As of this point I could careless if I ever receive this mount ( in fact I don't want it now) if that is how little SE thinks of the 180 subscribers.

Did you happen to contact a GM about yours? As you stated in another thread, you had more than 90 days paid time on the account within that period so you should have received it.

Which leads back to my original point that I'm not so certain that the wording is explicitly stating it only begins counting your 90 days from the start of campaign, it's only checking to see if you have accrued 90 days of subscription by the end of August/September.

But that's just my theory. Based on the assumption that, having received the mount myself, paying month to month, and not expecting to have received anything in this first rollout. Obviously also contradicts with every other player maintaining the same payment schedule and not receiving the mount.

Okay impossible was a bit of an exaggeration, there's a very small window where you can do this, but you have to have to have a subscription date fall on either 1st or 2nd July:

30th June-> 29th July (only 29 days carry over)
30th July -> 28th August (30 days)
29th August -> 27 September (30 days)
Total: 89 days

1st July -> 30th July (30 days)
31st July -> 29th August (30 days)
30th August -> 28th September (30 days)
Total: 90 days

2nd July -> 31st July (30 days)
1st August -> 30th August (30 days)
31st August -> 29th September (30 days)
Total: 90 days

3rd June -> 2nd July (only 2 days carry over)
3rd July -> 1st August (30 days)
2nd August -> 31st August (30 days)
Total: 62 days

To be eligible for this campaign, you have to fulfil the following requirements:

-Purchase and register a copy of Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood
-Subscribe for at least 90 days of play time (excluding free play periods)

The number of days of subscription time added to your account, excluding free play periods, is how eligibility will be determined. This does not mean that 90 days must have elapsed to be eligible. For example, you can still obtain the mount if you purchase a 90-day subscription period on the 30th of September 2017.

If you have remaining subscription time that was purchased before the campaign period, or you have an active recurring subscription we will calculate any remaining game time available as of Saturday 1st of July towards the campaign.

If you meet the requirements by the end of September, the item will be sent to you on or after Thursday, the 5th October via the moogle delivery service.

I paid for my 180-day sub on June 14th. Got my mount Sept 5. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I've added game time cards for certain veteran rewards. I've used cheap ARR account licenses ($5 humblebundle etc) + game time cards to get the gold chocobo feathers + friend recruitments. What have you.

Seriously, if you actually should have got it on Sept 5, contact them.

Well what ur saying should give me the eligibility to get the mount but SE said that you can check under VETERAN REWARDS or w/e its called in mog station if you GOING to get it, and mine isnt there! And yes, i pay from month-to-month and i havent skipped a month since the campaign started. So why isn't it showing up as a -going-to-get-item- like they claim it should to be? To me it seems like i am not getting it :\

i think we can ALL agree that this campaign, as for details on them, is a miss >< they shouldve let everyone get it at the same time- and if u didnt get it > u didnt meet the requirements. All this chaos / confusion right now... gg SE ><

I have 180 day automatic renewal ( has been in effect since Ver1.2x without interruption) and the Mog Station doesn't show me as receiving one. At this point I would prefer if they didn't send me one as I will probably discard it in pure disgust.

In large print "Subscribe for at least 90 days of play time (excluding free play periods)"
in fine print "The initial free play period included with new product registrations, the free login period from the Callback Campaign, and the free play period granted for moving to New/Preferred Worlds do not count toward the 90 day requirement."

The latter, "moving to New/Preferred Worlds" free game time wasn't the bonus. It was "Character Creation Bonuses on a New/Preferred Worlds"
which is a fairly big difference in words, that's like saying moving your main character oppose to making an alt character.

But whatever, we can infer that they meant "Any free play period including but not limited to new product registrations, free login period, or free game time rewards do not count towards the 90 day requirement."

The other one that trips people up;
"If you have remaining subscription time that was purchased before the campaign period, or you have an active recurring subscription, we will calculate any remaining game time available as of Saturday, July 1, towards the campaign."

First let's define "game time", which isn't covered in the article.
The "game time" means "remaining days" listed on your account status whether in-game or on the mogstation account services information.

This rule is probably covers the most edge case condition assuming we're understanding it correctly.
It was meant to cover any large subscriptions, that is the 180 days subscription. If someone purchased a 180 days subscription let's say 30 days before the campaign even started, that'll count towards the Falcon Mount.

But, anything smaller, that is all the other current subscription plans, the "remaining days" won't make a much of a difference in your purchase.

The possible subscription times you can have are;
30, 60 (from game time cards), 90, and 180 days.

With smaller subscriptions, you're trying to fit a 90 days or more in a 92 days campaign window. So the "remaining days" is only useful if you had more than 30 days remaining at the start of July 1st.

That is the edge cases for this is, if you were just buying "60 days" or "90 days" option, and if less than 30 days remaining starting July 1st, then you'll have to purchase a cumulative of "90 days" options either way between July 1st to Sept 30th.
Obviously if you were buying "30 days" options before July 1st, then any remaining days will be less than 30. This would be meaningless because you'll still need to purchase a cumulative of "90 days" between July 1st to Sept 30th.

If you're scratching your head at this point, yeah... I know it's a bit hard to visualize.
So here's a picture. Green is 30days, Yellow is 60 days, Blue is 90 days.

There's also another edge case where a subscriber can prevent themselves from participating in this event, which isn't mentioned on the event page.
That is, if they buy a 30-day subscription between Sept 1st to Sept 30th, AND still hasn't satisfy the conditions to earn the Falcon Mount from said purchase. Then they've just locked themselves out of it.

Due to the fact that you can't "buy" another subscription to your account until the 30-day subscription has ended.

A work around might be "Game Time Card"... Assuming if it actually adds to the "remaining days" oppose to kicking into effect after subscription ends.

Its now the 5th of October in Japan and I still didn't get this mount I'm really upset by this. So i guess i will have to buy it on the mog station when it appears.

It tends to lean towards pdt and not always right at midnight so wait until tomorrow passes in north america and then check. If you should have qualified and didn't get it after that point, contact support.

Anyone get one in this last batch of falcon mount ? :(

For the next 2 minutes where I am it is still the 4th so I'm not expecting it yet.

Hmm, I'm on a recurring subscription. Looks like I was charged for 180 days on the 27th September. Still no sign of this mount. :(

i was charged for another 90 days back on sept 21st.

i am still awaiting mine but ill give it a few more hours before i try to contact support/gms

I'd probably give it up until Thursday ends. It could take awhile to process all the eligible accounts.

Got the mount, auto sub since 2.0 and last sub was 19 sep., was a long waiting for someone who always sub 3 months ... but finally.

I'm impressed of how many people, when said "you get this on Oct, 5", will go to rage and disappointment when they login on Oct, 5, 00:01 and still don't see the rewards.

If you didn't got it, I'd suggest, in order:

a) wait a couple days, to rule out a slow distribution issue
b) double check your eligibility
c) if all fine, make a detailed support request with date and time of your purchases in the eligible period, plus the last one before the eligible period, to calculate the possible eligible days you still got from it
d) good luck

I have checked my additional rewards and the falcon is not there.
Here is the kicker. I subbed for another 90 days on sept 21st. Well before the cut off date for the 2nd delivery

so im just hoping its some kind of bug and will receive sometime today tomorrow it just concerns me is all.

Yup, the mogstation is as slow to be updated that the game. I checked it too sometimes but even now there is still nothing (yet I got the mount right now)
You should receive it soon.

I'm pretty sure that I've subbed for the applicable time, but the reward doesn't show up in the additional items list where the promo site says to check "when the item becomes available". That's where my confusion is. Is it supposed to be "available" on the days of distribution or the time when you reach the sub goal?

I'll check it out later.

Reporting for second wave. Just got mine at about 5:05am EST. Teleported to my house, mailbox ding went off, checked and it was indeed the Falcon Mount. Happy mounting all! ^.^

I have check after receiving the mount and nothing, I know someone who got it in September and that didn't show up until recently too. So I wouldn't suggest that heh. Just being patient.

still nothing here for me yet butt i think ill take a nap and hopefully be pleasantly surprised but idk im getting a bit nervous now that i might not get it even tho i know ive met the requirements for this campaign. lol

If younhave been subbed a total of 90 days during the campain event then yes, if you haven't then no

You can also do Request Reward Delivery at the Mailbox if it hasn't shown up.

I've checked mine everyday, at least mine is show up on the list just now, didn't login to check yet but I think it's on the day of distribution.

already got mine, maybe try exit the game and log in again help.
