Not unobtainable. Still available for cash for people who don't have time/don't want to grind, or a lengthy grind for those who don't want to spend money. I think that's fairer than locking stuff behind a paywall when we pay to play already.

This will only make SE focus on creating shit looking gear for the game and only release the good looking ones in the Mog Station. If this were to be made, I rather the game go F2P. If you have cash and want to spend them, just donate to Square Enix or better find a real cause and donate your money to charity.

My point didn't get to you it seems. The complaint the poster I was replying to would rather everything be free, but that's not how labor, effort, and business works.
New question, would people be ok if in the odd number updates dungeons would have less armor and more creative glamour instead? (even if ilevel is still high?). Basically don't design the look of the next level 70 gear to fit roles (armor for tank, robes for casters) and instead design them to actually look good like some of the disciple of land/hand gear, ao dai, taoist, thavnair dress.
I think that's what needs to happen. They limit themselves so much by having to make the same armor, robe, etc for roles in these dungeons and barely get to make good glamour.
I already expect the new raid to bring the same boring mage robes that look almost like dun scaith's
I don't have a big issue with the mogstation, though they definitely focus on it more than I'd like. I'd have to say in response to this idea, I would give a huge NO. I'd rather they give us a glamour log of some sort instead to address inventory space, which would alleviate supposed server strain.
This I'm not sure how I feel about. It could work out though I suppose.
