No more Road to 60 Buff? (Zalera)

Right, cause it's not like you can't get upwards to 50% experience bonus without doing anything. Do Hall of the Novice? Get a ring that gives you 30% exp to lvl. 30. Preordered Stormblood? Guess what? That's an earring that gives 50% exp gain till level fifty, so that's 80% right there. Part of an FC at rank 8? Then they're going to be popping that exp gain for 10% for twenty-four hours. Would you look at that? 90% exp gain? Like Niwashi said, rested bonuses are an additional 50%, so that's 140% exp gain to level 30. Oh no, you lost your ring buff? that's still 110% exp gain till fifty. And if you have the friendship circlet cause you got recruited by a friend, that's an additional 25% till level 25. Look at all that extra experience! And that's not taking into account food buffs, chain experience from kills and the like.

Actually I was talking about where you said "The whole thing seems so disingenuous that it has made me not even want to play now I know the sort of company I'm dealing with." I'm simply stating that if you look at the mmo competition, you make it out as if FF just turned into one of the worst devs around throwing a statement out like that, when ideally they're still one of the best. I do indeed have a backbone, these minor "inconveniences" (because that's all they really are, at most, especially for a new player) just don't bother me, lol. I'm not saying "every other dev is shitty, expect FF to be" but I don't agree that this is something we can judge our Dev's practices on.

It's mainly just trying to get people TO MOVE from the congested servers. People that already grinded to end game, spent the hours, and dont wanna redo it. Not you, who is too lazy to grind the normal way. XD ALSO JUMP POTIONS EXIST.
