I'm REALLY dissapointed with Omega OST.

Generally when you want to offer feedback you state why something is bad and how it could be improved. Spitting on Soken's work is just outright disrespectful, grow up.

My personal opinion, is that while I do like the remasters, they're just a bit too quiet and low energy for my tastes, makes it rather forgettable. You can't really afford to have low impact, quiet battle music in an action, heavy movement based mechanic game. It's partly why I dislike the HW standard overworld battle theme.

See that? You can offer a negative opinion about something and not be a disrespectful penis about it.

The whole thing is a FF5 homage, which is awesome. Dealwidit

I don't think they are bad, they are rather good arrangements of the original themes.
But yeah I think themes like Metal, Locus and Rise are way more thrilling and original than those.
Anyway, nothing beats Calamity Unbound for me, as a boss theme :D (that freefall in the unknown feeling during that song is still unmatched ^^ )

It might be a homage but it just sounded like normal stereotypical boss music. It's way too quiet, it doesn't have a strong baseline, no catchy hook so I can barely even remember any of it. I think it's way worse than coil and alex music.

I must admit....Decisive Battle was a bit disappointing. It doesn't have the same energy as the original where it really excites you. Fierce Battle on the other hand sounds pretty nice and I got hit with nostalgia goosebumps. Note that i think they're both quite good but the final boss music doesn't have much of a "battle" vibe, it's way too tame.

Alexander music is glorious and i always listen to it outside of the game.
Omega soundtrack? Very disapointing for me. There's an extremely high probability i'll never listen to it. (At least the music from O1-4)
And yeah i know they are remix from FFV but i never played it anyway.

I agree. I did the fights a few times now and I dont even remember what the music was.

I personally didn't care for Locus or Rise but I loved Brute Justice. I had a double take when the Omega OST started and I never even played FFV. It's not as energetic as the others but I hope that they pick up the energy later. Soken's not let me down so far.

The Omega musics were fine for me and I did not play FFV. But yeah not much to argue about personal tastes.

I rather complain about the Emanation music, which did not really put me into a combat stance :p

The inclusion of remade FFV songs is awesome.

So far, I prefer everything about Omega over Alexander. Musically better, aesthetically better, and not spending the first four encounters beating up robots, goblins, and Jell-O.

That is cause Lakshmi does not want you in a combat stance. She wants you to rest your soul in her bosom and let yourself sink into the eternal bliss of her dream.

Even if it wasn't from FFV, the themes still stand.

These interpretations of the FFV are very lackluster compared to the originals. They are boring, uninspired and sound pretty generic leaving a lot to be desired sapping a lot of energy from the battles.

Part of the great atmosphere and battles in this game is the music so it is a big disappointment for Omega :( I hope savage version has more interesting music and mechanics. Overall SB had a lot nicer music themes than HW and ARR IMO but I guess everything can't be nicer lol. I hope we get nicer music for the 24-person and 2nd part of the raid.

Alexander 4 had really awful music too so there is always hope lol.
