[Dev Request] Brand New RP Servers

I've had RPers not use skills in the DF before, as well as classes instead of jobs, RP dungeon walkers, RP chat spam. Gonna call me a liar too?

My FC is right next door to one of the biggest RP FCs on Jenova and I would be sad to see them go. Some of the friendliest people on the server. They have invited us to many of their events and it is a joy to see them doing their thing all around lavender beds. That being said I dont really see the difference in having an official and an unofficial server for RPers. If there is such a great desire for this within the community, why not organize and move to one of the smallest servers yourself? It serves the same function. Just requires work and motivation on the players end as opposed to the developers.

I don't think a official rp server happening, yoshi-p said he torn on it aka he knows people want one but they don't want to do it the vibe I get. I personally don't think a server needs to be labeled as such by SE.

Personally I would say leave it as it is, it is in general a bad thing to to seperate people into different boxes and SE probably has seen the margain of error from so many other more or less failed MMO's.

An official RP server isn't really needed as long as people know (or can easily find out) which are the un-offical RP servers.

Roleplayers do not "refuse to use certain abilities" in public PVE dungeon finder settings; we know how to distinguish between OOC and IC. I'm a roleplayer. I know /hundreds/ of fellow roleplayers. And the type of conduct you describe is simply non-existent.

It's existent enough on the very rare, anomalous event that people on the official forums (here) and on the subreddit reference it enough. Walking all the time etc. I've spoken with these people who make these claims, trying to urge them to see that these players are outliers or may be trying to dick around but that doesn't matter to them. -Someone- used roleplaying to excuse their bad behavior and -that- is what people see. Don't kid yourself by trying to invalidate other peoples' actual experiences. Whether or not it is an outlier, that is their experience.
