I will go straight to unlocking Samurai and prepare for the grind to 60. Wont be touching the MSQ until then, because i want to go through it as Samurai.

Rearrange my hotbars, then will go straigth to MSQ.
Yeah first 5 mins would have to be system stuff and organisation. Check settings, check hotbars, check new tooltips, check gearsets, check new achievements, send out retainers, clear out items that are newly added to exchange/desynth list such as Dun Scaith armor. Say hello to friends. Then it's off to start main scenario.
See if any of my mains are still worth playing, because if the core gameplay is so bastardized that they require level 70 to even be enjoyable, I've no interest in leveling them.
In Monk's case, almost every skill added actually seems to diminish quality of gameplay outside of Brotherhood's Chakra-generation burst. And it doesn't remotely make up for losing all control over my cycling speed through the removal of stanceless skills (ToD/Frac).
Wonder who the hell are all these people logged in the FC
Go to Doma so I can finally be surrounded by other Au Ra npc's. Hopefully the queue won't be two hours..and I can already see the people going afk on their crafting classes.
Start MSQ asap :D
I will probably spend more than 5 minutes just chatting with people in FC and LS who have been in the headstart, listening to them praise/damn the class changes and try to figure out what my skills are and how out of whack my gear melds are. Then I will probably go take a nap. I'm just not overly excited about it, but it will bring some friends back to the game.
going to the market board and preview all the new glamour items.
and yeah, rearranging my hotbars of course, since i can't play otherwise.
1. Turn off shout/yell chat to avoid potential MSQ spoilers
2. Unlock RDM
3. Jump into PotD solo to set up my hotbars for lvl 60 and kill a few mobs to get used to keybinds a bit
Rest of the post 5-min time is spent farming PotD until I either fall asleep from boredom, or hit 60 so I can start doing the MSQ.
Hotbar(d)s.
Gonna turns my M-size house from Goblet to L-size house in Kurogane.
I'm gonna live in WARD 1 !!!!!
Chatting with my returned free company members while cleaning up my hotbars. I can't wait! There's several people in particular who I really missed.
"We" decided to go into a dungeon to acclimate to the changes :P
HANG OUT WITH MY BOY GOSETSU
YAAA BOIII
I'll probably be spending the first five minutes logging. I expect there to be a queue to log into Gilga like there was when HW came out.
Fix all three of my healer hotbars!
Probably the same as 40% of the community.
1. Unlock SAM
2. Buy an ironworks katana.
3. Set up hotbars worthy enough for PotD or dungeon spam.
Wade through the 5 digit queue to log in.
Doing MSQ to unlock the first 4.0 zone, go to a vendor NPC to buy lv 60-61 stuff, selling it with profit in the market board
Normally, the first thing I do every time I log in, especially after patches, is to visit the aesthetician.
So now that I'm finally happy with my hair, I don't know what will substitute that routine ._.'
Fix hotbars, re-learn BRD, do a few runs in PotD to get a hang of the changes, run a couple of roulettes or trials. And then will dive into the MSQ.
Experiment with the new MCH playstyle, and start to develop a preliminary rotation to build upon as I progress through SB. As a MCH main since the early access for HW, once I saw the way the new combat system works for MCH, it's been the only thing about SB that's really been on my mind. Of course, my girlfriend wants to unlock RDM as soon as possible, so there's a good chance my testing will have to wait.....
Will most likely msq first as I don't see the jobs being available right as you log in. Once I get the chance to speak to a job trainer, I'll unlock RDM and Sam.
on the 16th, I'll adjust my hotbars and UI
on the 20th, I'll change server and grind up my fc there
I'm going to unlock SAM and then do whatever quests I have to do to get whatever skills on SAM. Then fix my hotbars for SAM followed by hours of PotD.
Rearrange hotbars.
Get on the MSQ ASAP. Would like be ahead of hordes who'll log in once morning comes, since not everyone is staying up until 12AM or earlier in the morning to play.
Ninja didn't get many changes, so rearranging my keys would only take maybe a minute or so.
Run to the marketboard to look for new pretties to try.
Get Red Mage and Try on the Glamour Outfit I picked out to make sure it looks cute! :3
Got my lvl 50 i130 iron works caster gear ready and glamed to look CUTE AF when Stormblood opens and Red Mage is finally mine.
I will probably be sad because I cant play on PS3 anymore.
Go to Big Ala Mhigo
Read my new tooltips and figure out where to place everything on my hotbar again. Yay Bard Changes!
1) log off in the innroom beforehand
2) check aesthetician
3) go to gold saucer and check new prizes
4) reconfigure UI's
5) Visit idyllshire and check the tome vendors for changes and spend my remaining tomestones
6) MSQ
Leveling RDM and SAM via PvP!
Check Aesthetician even though I'm pretty sure there wont be any other new hairstyles that werent in the benchmark
Unlock RDM
Go get it's 130 weapon
Go into POTD as a duo with husband who's unlocking SAM just so we can set up hotbars with lvl 60 abilities then leave
Wail on a training dummy for a bit
Somewhere after that we'll go do some roulettes and try to get to 52 that night. Already have a static with a tank and healer ready so we're set to get to 60 on the new jobs quickly
Visit house and if it's available, put extra furniture into house inventory.
Check new hairstyles.
Summon retainers and start selling the items I've made in the past weeks.
Do mini cactpot and check the vendor.
Fetch a new Wondrous Tale book.
Buy a weapon for RDM + SAM.
Send Squadron on a mission.
Open up the patch notes. (This is how I familiarize myself with all game changes.)
And finally pick role abilities for SMN and start sorting my keybinds.
Figure out where SAM unlocks because I suck at reading patch notes so my first 5 mins will probably consist stressing over where the guild is. If I still have a few minutes left out of my 5 mins I will do the 3.x Beast tribes and after that prepare the PotD grind. :x
Take off all the removed skills from my hotbar and add the new role skills on my class.
