Pfff. Not with that attitude.

Did someone forget one of the most used Rules of the Internet?
At this point it'd be a miracle that they'll ever add a playable race that has a muzzle/beak/long face at all, much less anything wider than Roe(don't know how to spell the rest of their name and I'm lazy). I mean I don't think they're incapable of making any of the changes they'd need, but rather I think they'd stay on the convenient side of things.
shoes are useless, when ever i get glamour i always have trouble finding shoes that fit the glamour and always end up with a pair of sandals that look similar to being barefoot, really rare that i find glamour to have shoes/boot that match the outfit. All they need to do is make shoes invisible on equippable like the belt.
I....I wouldn't mind being a moo moo. Look at how cute it is when it blushes:

I wouldn't mind playable Ivalice moogles too. If they got stretched a little bit like the ff12 ones
They have spiked heels in XII. Tactics and the XIV concept art have them with more rabbit-like feet, but considering Auri were already on the table and wouldn't have required any extra work, I can understand why Viera were shelved.

Just no, thanks.
This game's story is based on the concept of humanoid vs beastmen. Which is why beastmen will probably never be playable.
Viera is where it's at (and where the money is for Square Enix, and I'm sure they know that).
Yes and no,cause during heavensward, you should have noticed that not only beastmen can summon primal,so you argument is totaly invalid starting HW,then you cannot deny all ivalice lore and background just because you decided to.
Any beast from ivalice can be a playable race.
We're not in ivalice. The fact that we'll have a raid named "Return to Ivalice" does not in any shape or form imply that.
The fact that humanoid races can in very special conditions summon a primal has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that the story is and remains based on a very strong contrast between humanoid races and beastmen.
Keep believing it can happen you want. It's no skin off my back, but there won't ever be a beastman warrior of light, member of the scions and so forth. It simply doesn't make sense with the story so far, which will still be available and playable for the foreseeable future.
If they'll consider bringing a race from Ivalice, Square Enix will go where the money is, which is the absolutely logical thing to do with a MMORPG entering its maturity years. And I'd say that there's absolutely zero doubt that the number of people who would be attracted by the possibility of playing a Fran-like character massively overwhelms the niche who wants to play a lizard.
Can't we just leave Ivalice in Ivalice? The world's already had several games to expand on it. Let 'em come up with new ideas for the new world.
Miqo'te are specifically mentioned to be one of the "chosen five" species that are considered human. Auri are outside of that, but it's because of their potentially Voidsent heritage, not because of their scales, horns, or tail. They're still classified as human despite that.
