Don't really care, since the idea is overplayed. More options are nice, regardless.

Oh and I don't really care about gender locks in this case, as long as there's one for each. Ideally Persona 4 styled outfits. The stitched pattern helps make it a little more unique than the standard look.

I also really hate this "I just won't wear it" crowd. This nonsense of "If you don't like it don't use it, more options lmao" sicken me. I enjoy a cohesive world, and even stupid things like the spinning turtle mount irk me. It just screams to me that people don't care for Eorzea as anything other than a place to dress up and socialize. When I'm in a big 8 man story instance for the first time, and one of my healers is a catgirl japanese schoolgirl or something. it saddens me.

The issue is, this could be said about almost anything they do.

Gee If only Square Enix had some kind of game that had school type uniforms in them that they could use and implement into a similar type of game in the same franchise

If anyone could think of a game that has both school attire fashion in it and is a Square Enix title lemme know because I sure can't think of one

For the type zero outfit you can use the scions top we just got with the final fantasy 11 event items(skirt) to go with it with your choice of shoes. Minus the sailor shirt with your choice of skirt that's all I got. I just want some more sleek armor looks that aren't bound by class.

Did you actually try to imply Type -0 is even close to the design of FFXIV? It's so ill fitting that's it's laughable. Just because it's a FF game/Square Enix game automatically means it fits the design? That's not how it works. What would the lore be, where are these clothes from? What are they made of? These are all important things and each and every day people just reach harder and harder to justify their dress up fantasies

On the one hand, I'm always a fan of more glamour options (I rocked the Sailor Shirt + SCH skirt look once upon a time myself), but on the other hand I do notice a lot of stuff being asked for that kills immersion.

I think we're good with the Scion Adventurer outfit, and anything more obvious than that is pushing the envelope entirely too far.

Also, for that person asking about the strap on the leg (on the Scion gear), I think it's designed to be a pouch or pocket of some sort? I use that outfit and the Shire Conservator hat as my BRD/MCH glamour, and I pretend in my head that's where I holster my gun (I use the Garo Hand Mortar, which is the only pistol skin without a long barrel, maybe Square could devise a few more in the future?)

New glamour options are always a great thing but I would rather have the DEV team add something more original, that fits the world of FFXIV, instead of generic and trashy school girl uniforms.

Let's add an option in character configuration: "don't show glamours" so all the people that wants the game armor looks as it must be is happy, and who wants to play with glamours is happy too. Just a click away :)

Glamours were a mistake. It's nothing but trash.

I'm against this purely because it would make the disgusting rats that play this game to dress their female character up as skimpily as possible joy, and I hate all of you.

I'd like to see more mog station glamours that fit the games theme. And I mean original glamours, not clothes from existing important NPCs.

I would mind not seeing more glamours, but I do hope with Doma being a central part of Stormblood, they work on introducing more outfits like a kimono first.


PS: I am still waiting for the Ishgardian outfits, I hope they release those aswell.

Trolls/"I-hate-everything" people aside...

There's already several options in game, both for modern style and not, both for more western style and eastern style uniforms. So, some might see it as dev resources better spent elsewhere.

On the other hand, that people are still asking does suggest a desire for even more variety. So, it can go both ways really.

For those looking to cross dress.... this is a Japanese game dude lol Japan is conservative AF when it comes to that sort of thing. Japan mainstream ain't like Anime land xD.

You could easily do a schoolboy uniform as well. I'd love a schoolgirl / schoolboy outfit. Although I REALLY wanna wear the butler gear on my fem au ra, I understand why we have the maid costume instead, and it's fine.

What I would like is a Class 0 uniform from Type 0, I think that'd be a fun way to give something like this but still FF related.

Considering Yoshi-P's stance on depictions of minors, we're never going to get this. And that's a good thing. Wanting to dress your character up as a modern 15 year old school kid is a little gross.
