I called them five times and they all gave me that excuse so I tried live chat and got the code within minutes.

Does anyone know if amazon.ca works for this? since amazon.com doesn't ship to Canada most of the time. and what counts? is it just Final fantasy games or any game from the section

Only amazon.com. Anything in the games section sold & shipped by amazon with the ffxiv promotion listed under the product's promotions counts.

still got no codes. 18hrs+ and counting

I talked to the live chat, she said pretty much have to wait out the 48 hours now to get the code (seems like a policy change or miscommunication on them at first) and if you don't get your code by then, live chat with a amazon help desk and they will get your code then. I'm on 24hr atm still waiting.

It took 2 days after I placed my pre order for Stormsblood before I got the codes (wasn't in any hurry to get them so i waited. This was before the new DLC content they are running now), so give it a few days after ordering.
