love the idea of seasons but it's a waste if there isn't actual content that takes advantage of having different ones, it would be awful if gathering/fishing was related to seasons though.

rides are only interesting if they are like optional zones people can go to, like the boats for the Sahagin beast tribe quests. otherwise it's just tedious.

- A snuggle/actual kiss emote for EB'd partners.
- Armor where capes are attached to the waist instead of the top (like Minfillia's armor *coughcough*).
- Accents/specific parts of armor that are dyeable.
- Specific hitboxes(?) where you can sit down that limit your proximity to others.
- Increased leves cap

I would personally like to see more organization options in the armor inventory.

Gear sets are nice and do the job... to a point. With as many classes as I'm leveling right now, I am constantly running into the problem of being unable to change gear sets because 1 (one) tab of my armor inventory is full. It would be nice to have another inventory UI that has slots for each job. That way, you can load up your essential gear into each of the tabs and free up your armor inventory for things such as... anything really; aesthetic/glamour pieces, gear you still want to grow into, gear for retainers, etc. It would just make things so much more organized. I also don't really like squinting to try and see the little 'gear list' icon in the corner of the item while I'm trying to free up space by throwing away/selling/storing non-gear list items.

EDIT:: Gonna add more to this. The 'recommended gear' has been so useful... I have mild dyslexia and it can be super difficult to find the correct piece of armor I'm trying to equip at any given time, especially if the stats and the icon are similar. Rather than simply expanding the armor inventory, I'd really like to see them make the system more efficient and helpful for players who have to practically press their eyeballs against the screen to see the icons straight. (Yes, I am aware you can make the UI bigger... but I struggle with an over-crowded screen as it is)

Its funny when it take 30 meld trys to get 1 meld on my gear but I can fail marker mark and ht 5 in a row and happening alot.

Mrk is 10% to fail
HT with hands 2 is 20% to fail

4th DoL job
What I want.

1. No more hair clipping or any other kind of clipping.

2. An open world with varying types dangerous enemies that actually make you think instead of enemies with one or two special moves that barely make a difference and don't just spam auto attack.

3. Also, no more beast tribe/Garlean enemies being only able to attach the heavy effect on players and instead attatch a special effect that better fits with what type of enemy they are.

-An encyclopedia (or at least a beastiary).
-Balconies for apartments.
-More companions (like a Couerl, Elbst, Drake, etc).

For dungeons mostly:

Maybe a counter LB buff for bosses (mostly final Dungeon bosses) that damage the DPS (if not kill em) that use any type of LB as long as it's up.
An enemy that gets stacks of Damage up (10 max) and Vulnerability down the more mobs a tank pulls.
Make dungeons non linear.
Maybe use enemy/boss aoes to kill certain adds.
Puzzles that are random and change every time you enter a dungeon.
Add squadrons to your party if you don't feel like running instances with random party members at the moment or if your friends, fc, and/or ls aren't around to do dungeons with ya for any reason.

Everything else:

Add some random idle animations for mounts when you decide to afk a bit.
Let us have more than 100 macros!
Make it possible to hold more than 99 stacks of a specific item at a time so it doesn't take up so much inventory space.

Some of these already were in some other topics (or even in this one) but for me this would be great:

1) Ability to use crafting mats directly from retainers inventory

2) Possibility to buy only part of stack from market board

3) Possibility to mass change sell price for same item I am selling

4) Inventory increase (retainer inv too) - hopefully this is already in development

5) All currencies (beast tribe, alex tokens etc) in currency tab and not in inventory

6) Possibility to autoskip beast tribe quests previously played animations (I really dont need to see it for the 50th time and "skip animation" is too slow)

7) Multijob glamour (I want my ironworks gear look differently on my culinarian and my blacksmith please - just an example)

There are many other things I would like to see, but these bugs me the most.

EDIT: On the other hand there is one thing I dont want to see ever again. Multilayer RNG based rewards like current diadem. Please.

Fix. The. Invisible. DoTs.

I'll take nothing else if they just sort out the display priority for this.

In no specific order:

1) FC members should have a special color for the names (similar to how your friends appear orange by default). It doesn't make much sense to me that in order to easily spot someone from your FC they have to be on your friends list, I notice newer members to our FC are a little intimidated about getting 10+ friends all of a sudden when they barely know us just so we can help out if we happen to spot them in the open world.

2) Increase dungeon party size to 5 members (1 tank, 1 healer, 3 DPS). I'm specifically talking about dungeons, and not PvP, trials, PotD, or guildhests, but regular dungeons and the ones in your roulettes. I do believe DPS queues could and should be shorter. With SB coming the ones hurt most by this are going to be the new players who only have a limited number of dungeons to choose from as they're still unlocking stuff/need a specific dungeon for the MSQ. Runs like Haukke and Sastasha which have 4 things to press can easily be managed by the DPS and healer, allowing the tank to hold the boss, so their mechanics don't need to be changed. To keep dungeons from going too fast, HP on mobs and bosses should be increased.

3) I am also quite fond of 1.0's movement animations when starting/stopping running, but I know they would significantly slow down combat. However, I think they could be present when you are not in combat in the open world or only in sanctuaries (if they become a problem in FATES and during Levequests). I do believe they would add some nice life towns and questing areas, but I would like them to stay out of dungeons and raids to avoid causing issues with dodging.

4) Updates to character textures. I was kind of surprised that SB wasn't getting a new race or a character customization update. However, I feel at the very least that the textures on models (skin, hair, eyes, lips, ect) should be updated.

5) Stoneskin II to all of the healing jobs. Pretty please?

6) It's been suggested a million times, but, some sort of Glamor Log.

7) An upgrade to the backcharge policy.

8) In 24mans, my DoTs should always appear first to me, even if the list of debuffs on the target is full. I don't care about everyone else's DoTs, I care about mine and I need to be able to see them.

9) Why is the NA subscription fee only in USD? The Canadian and American dollar are not the same and they change a lot, currently a $12.99 sub fee is $18 for a Canadian player. (I don't know if any other reigns have the same problem, I just know about US and Canada) Time cards are not a cheaper option either, usually costing more than the sub fee before or after taxes and/or shipping.

Glamouring rebuilt from scratch:

• You get an item, you unlock its skin, you can trash the item afterward, no need for inventory space;
• You wear a piece, you can change its skin with unlocked ones;

Permanent focus target bar.So annoying when boss becomes untargetable and the information vanished <.<.

Limit Brakes.

It would be great if we could get different types of Limit brakes at different levels. Instead of having just one.

I want them to have a buy history on the MB so I can see what I bought and have a quick link back to it so I can buy more if needed. I still like the wish.

This please :). It frees up so much inventory space.

As for me, I would like some simple phrases in the auto-translate to communicate with newbies who don't speak your language. I felt really bad when I couldn't communicate boss mechanics to a newbie just cause he didn't know English :(. The phrases are good, but could we have some simple phrases that describe boss mechanics?

The ability to save HUD setups between characters so we don't have to rearrange everything from scratch for every alt we start would be nice. We can already save appearance data so I imagine this shouldn't be too difficult.

This is already possible and quite easy. The option doesn't exist in game but just go to your ARR folder, copy the DATs from your main and paste them in your alt's folder. Works for everything from UI to macros.

I actually read about that but I was told it would be against the ToS as it's considered modifying the client. Idk if that's true or not but I wasn't willing to risk it. Would that work on PS4 though? I mainly play the console version so I think I'd need an in game option for it but idk.

Ah yes, it didn't occur to me you might be on console. In that case I have no idea and agree it would be a great addition. As for modifying the client I don't see how, you're just copying settings.

Didn't tried, but now that the game can be saved on ps4's external disk, it may be possible doing that moving the disk to a PC and making there the copy&paste. It is worth trying, at least to know if possible, when I will switch to ps4 at next expansion, it will save me hours of dealing with UI again.

Fix the promotions/demotions permissions of the FC.

Who have promotion rights must not be able promote members to be (equal or) above their rank.
Who have demotion rights must not be able demote members which are (equal or) above their rank.

There is something that I do want from the expansion - mostly because it should be out by day 1 one but whatever - and that is the possibility to replace party members while inside a dungeon by inviting from friendlist, LS or FC rather than pray to whatever deity for a random replacement.

I lost count of how many times a run was lost because a tank or a healer is gone, we wait 300 years for a replacement, people even ask in their FC or LS or whatever, and it only ends up with them joining other teams and GG. This is beyond ridiculous, especially when other mmorpgs do this as a basic feature (heck I don't think I've seen an mmorpg that does this poorly, when it comes to dungeon replacements in-going).

How long do we have to wait for a possible implementation such as this? 10.0?

I like the new Scion Adventure outfit we got. It would be great to get more gear in this kind of style. Including a jacket that has a hood on it. More shoes that look like Nike/Addidas High top trainers.

Alongside that how about being able to change classes if a party is missing a member. If I am dps atm but we lose the tank to whatever reason, I will gladly swap to tank and search for a replacement dps. Those are much easier to come by than waiting years for a tank to queue in progress.

I love this idea, it could potentially ease dps queues a tiny bit as well, if it were allowed.

1) Allow Players to leave an instance to repair if necassary and let them in again without leaving the Party.

2) For 24-Players Raids, you should be ported inside if atleast 20 Players accepted the Duty Finder invite - which leads to Point 1 of my suggestions

3) Diadem and probably Submarines Explorations should get replacements and also allow Need Roles. They can Still allow People to Change to DoL Classes but only to the DoW and DoM they Queue with. Or they allowed to Change to w/e Job they want, but Need to set the Class they want to Need with. (nothing more annoying then getting outlootet on 280 Weapons for Tank if they are in as Heal or w/e.

4) More Inventory Space

5) Dynamis, Besieged from XI, since i think they did something cool out of Nyzule Isle (Palace of the Dead)

6) Re-Do the Relic Questlines for the Future, stop that Farm 293123923 Dungeons Stuff to Keep Players busy. Relics should take a while to achieve, but can u maybe just add Special Primae Fights just for the Relic, like in 1.23 and 2.0 Chimera and Hydra which only can acces Players they started or finished a Relic already :)? Sure add some Tomes farm to it. But maybe with Weekly Limits so we dont get burned out so fast? Lets say you can put 500 Tomes a week for the Relic and then you are done. I have enough time doin a Relic in no Time, and if i have the Option to clear it faster then ill do it (i know my personal Problem) but if you lock the Relics behind Progression Walls, will make the Things easier and less Toxic. I Understand why everyone wants to Speedrun all the Time, its about the Points and this Kind of gear Progression and Relic Progression leads torwards a more toxic community (just my 2 Cents). I dont want the game to become even more "casual" (dont like the wording). But the Progression shouldnt nourish the toxicity.

6a) Make Relics relevant for the Future Expansions, continue the old Relics to get them to the new Ilevels and create a new Questline for the newer Relics, it adds more varity to the Relic Weapons and designs?!

7) Add Full-Set Effects on the Raid Gear, as an example: Job Gear from Tomes, "Future" Alexander and 24 Mann Raid gear.

7a) Primal Armor Sets (Set effects) Leviathan Armor give you Resists for Fights where you going to deal with Fire as example. It also adds more use for the Tokens, Mounts and Weapons are Boring. Ill give a short example, with the release of Bismark and Ravana, Bismark wasnt even Farmed, the fight and the Ilevel from the Weapons where totally useless. You just killed Bismark once and then Farmed Ravana. If Bismark Armor where added and it would have giving you and Advantage on Ravana Fights, the Content wouldnt have been skiped and the Work from SE would have lasts longer.

I really like this idea just last night my healer in my party her gear was so damaged that she kept dying often in the dungeon. This would help everyone in such a big way.

I cannot hit the Like button enough on the suggestions to allow more flexibility with parties when you need to replace someone. The current system flat-out sucks if someone disconnects. If done properly, it would also accommodate people voluntarily leaving to change job or repair if needed.

- Being able to queue as multiple roles for raids would be nice (it can lock you in when the queue pops, of course). If I have DPS and healer available, it's a pain to queue for half an hour as healer before checking the DPS queue and finding out I could have gone straight in.

- Undersized 24-man raids. I don't care if they're impossible to complete or have no loot, I just want to go in, take pictures and try out stupid experiments for fun. Stick a warning message up if you're worried some people will complain when they try to solo and can't finish.

- A glamour log.

- Removal of the lag on Benediction.

- More stuff for healers to do in between healing other than DPS.

- Fewer dangling red gemstones on healer headgear. HW is full of these. They clash with my skin :/

- Fixes to the model for male Elezen where the right leg disconnects entirely from the body in most tight clothes (very noticeable on mounts such as the Adamantoise and in more than one of our /sit positions). The solution is just to wear a dress, but some people want to enjoy their pants too. Not sure whether this only affects the tallest sizes but it looks terrible.

- Also, a basic 'No' and 'Yes' in the auto translate tool. 'No thanks' isn't really the right answer in any language to quite a substantial number of questions.

- Server-side storage for macros/HUD/bars/gearsets. Only accessible on demand from the character selection screen, not synced in real time - FFXI had the option available. Huge QoL boost for people who play on multiple machines or console users who want a cloud backup.

+1 on this idea. Also can we include chat box/maps into HUD sets as well? I could use a big map in the center during normal play but a small one by the side of the monitor for frontline. Also, there's this rare bug when the chat box will return to default state when the client crash sometime. It's pretty annoying trying to re-arrange and re-size the chat box when that happens.

You can transfer HUDs between characters easily - though a more straight forward method (ie ingame method) would be appreciated, and extend that to keybinds and macros.

As mentioned in earlier post, this does not extend to console players. Also, when you have a handful of characters, I wouldn't call the process easily. Lastly, the existing system can be even better (as mentioned).

One thing I would like to see in future is something minor - being able to "turn" off a vanity on an item without removing the glamour.

I'm sure it's been said somewhere, but I'd rather have vanity/glamour slots to overlay over my gear rather than having to actually change the items appearance itself. It would much more convenient to change looks that way.

So a vanity log book. I think i saw someone posted this idea somewhere before but that's ok cause that's what this thread is for. A Vanity Log book would be perfect it would have all of i glamour ideas in it which would save space big time in are inventory.
