So why did they choose to take the game down on a holiday? (USA)

I am allowed 3 unexcused absences from classes before it effects my grade at all, 1 for 3.5, 1 for 3.55 (unless if hits during spring break week /fingerscrossed) and 1 for when I just don't feel like driving to campus that day lol.

Switch and Zelda fortunately hit on a 3 day break so score there.

Well it's not really suprising since Europe wasn't into the segregation thing in which MLK spoke out against. That was in effect in the US though so it's understandable why his influence is concentrated there rather than anywhere else.

Yeah can understand their frustration but stuff happens and sometimes at the worst times. Should really take a step back and think about how influencial their national holiday is to the rest of the playerbase though. This one just isn't very I'm afraid.

MLK day yes, to remember and celebrate a great leader in the civil rights movement.

Don't take it personally, every time they've done a big patch like this they always do it on the Monday to Tuesday because that's when the weekly reset is.

Props for it being MLK day, but that's just the US.

The US is not the center of the world.

MILK day (yeah, thats how I read it when I saw it on this thread), never heard of it, and you have never heard of the holidays of other countries.

it's always during prime time in japan, too (19:00), so it's not only you who suffer. we do, too :/
