I don't see the point of a penis slider. Everyone will just set it to max. It's not like breasts/butt where people have a preference for the size, no one's going to want a small penis. So what you'll end up with is basically just a bunch of dudes with giant bulges - which isn't bad (except for Lalalfells since they look like literal kids) but I just don't see it being necessary. Maybe on Balmung.

Indeed, I have no issue with it. Especially since all it will affect is bulge size when not in heavy armour, it's not like it will suddenly make you nude. So I am all for it. I'm hoping with 4.x we will see muscle sliders for more races, and bulge sliders.

only way i can agree with is if females can get the same option for their clitoris/pubic hair "growth!" =D

also if this ever happened all my chars will be lalafells with the word "tripod" somewhere in the name >.>

i dont think it will work on lalafell because the bust slider for lalafell dont work on a female :) i just made this post to make the males dont have a flat butt and flat bulge

The devs have already discussed this when talking about customisation when the Au Ra came out. This is very much an old topic.

Simply put there is a system limit to the amount of variables a single model can currently have. Now maybe increased system specs and the Server upgrade might change that but I wouldn't make any assumptions. What this means is there is a limited number of variations available for each model due to system constraints. If they add one new option, say muscle definition, they would have to remove another existing option.

That said, more customisation options is something I think everyone would like. It's just that at the moment it is apparently due to system limitations they aren't adding more rather than a lack of desire.

In my personal thoughts of this all, I don't care....but this will just rise in more perversion and any other crap that goes on.
Oh well, I'm an adult but on the other side, there are kids playing this game, and I'm not sure how many need to see extravagant breast size
and male body parts hanging around and stuff.

females can wear suits and stuff but male can only wear 1 skirt and the other skirts are class based ! so you cant use it for glamour , i really wish for more options for male !

Generally speaking, especially with prudish America, seeing a large bulge is considered socially unacceptable. However, small and large chests are a thing that we are forced to deal with; you can't easily make a busty female's chest smaller without quite a large bit of discomfort.

Also, FFXIV falls under "Teen" in the ESRB. This is 13 and up.

Yet we use the same base game and can access the datacenters between Japan, Europe and America. I don't they'd make a slider for those unless those three could access them and display them equally. (What I'm saying is I pretty sure it doesn't matter that the European version of the game is 16+.) My main is a man'qote and honestly I am happy with the fact he has a fabulous tuck and virtually no crotch/bulge, that though is my preference and may not be to the taste of everyone. However I can understand the need and want for such a thing, the same goes for the bottom/rear and the musculature too. More choice and options would definitely be a good thing though. (I am fine with seeing bulges etc on other male's though..but yeah.. xD)

In the research I have done on this topic, the gender split of MMORPG players is not as skewed to male players as people think, it's closer to 40:60, female to male. So most of the G.I.R.L.s you're talking about may in fact be girls, rather than guys in real life.

As for the butt thing. Since both male and female get to use that, why do we even need a 'junk size adjustment'? Wouldn't there need to be a female equivalent? I'm not sure the game's rating could take the outcome of such a thing, on either gender.

I think I know what you're talking about. Same thing that said 97% of females play female characters. That seems pretty accurate xD. I've never played a male character. I have data for them but I don't use them.. And almost all of my female friends are female characters.

That survey was in 2014. I wonder how the stats are now. Because what people say about "G.I.R.Ls" definitely isn't what I see in-game at all.
