Kingdom Hearts crossover?

i love the idea of a crossover and would love some new minions form it like sora/rikku/kairi and ventus/terra/aqua and since it would be cute how bout a heart and def need a heartless minion

Well yeah why not, especially if we get glamour, some outfits are nice casual outfit and some of the keyblades looks cool too.
I would not mind some orchestrion rolls too, some music are nice like dearly beloved for example.
Those who want it can do it, those who don't want can "not do it" just like the yokai watch event, everyone happy end of the story :)

With a kingdom hearst cross event doesn't mean we need the Disney side, just the original characters created for Kingdom Hearts.

This is just me but I'd rather get Disney characters with an IQ in the negatives rather than the super edge lord with his edges lorded to the ultimatum FFXV MC. I just can't stand Emo "what happened to colors" Fantasy XV.

After the Yo-Kai event I'm pretty burned out on crossover events - especially if they're just going to involve FATE's and mindless grinding. If it were more interactive like the current Halloween event then I'd be more open...but even then I never felt like Disney ever worked well with Final Fantasy as a concept. I'd hate to see Disney characters running around Eorzea - the setting deserves to be taken more seriously than that.

KH is my favorite series, but I would rather not see anything from it in XIV.

But big games don't need crossovers to push their sales

Maybe a FF XIV bonus code for a minion in the KH3 gamebox, but nothing more.

Isn't coming anytime soon, and keyblades don't fit in FFXIV world.

Sounds like we'll never be getting that KH3 event then.

I'm not sure how key blades would work in FFXIV given that we have staves, daggers, axes, lances and so on but if we could get Dearly Beloved as an orchestrion track during the event, I'd do a 180 on my opinion and be all for it.

FFXIV is like the last fortress of Final Fantasy. Nowadays SE is pumping out Nomura games for 2-3 years straight. Please leave XIV alone.

As if FFXIV has an identity to begin with. FFXIII and Yokai weapons don’t "fit" the world yet here we are. I would rather get Auron outfit, that alone is all I will ever care about.

I love how the naysayers are acting as if this would completely wreck the game. Seasonal events are optional. Keyblades would be cosmetic, which makes the argument that they don't fit in the world rather moot. Power Rangers don't fit, but they spun it in a believable way. Plus, they're not supposed to be taken super seriously. They're just fun, optional side quests for items. What's the big deal, really?

We dont even need keyblades (even though, I realy want it), just make the reward a Sora/Ventus outfit for males and Kairi/Aqua outfit and hairstyle for females. They could also add minions as reward, maybe a Sora wielding a keyblade minion?

After Yokai, everything can be added in this game, the whole does not fit or breaks immersion is pointless now, Yoshi-P and SE did not care about it in the past, what makes you think they will care about it now?

Dunno about a full crossover.
But I would not say no to a Keyblade sword for my Paladin.

World of Final Fantasy was released and nothing from it was added to FFXIV.

I don't think anything besides items to commemorate the KH3 release will be added to FFXIV.

Thus far, haven't seen anything given a crossover event that didn't need the extra publicity. I doubt there's anything but maximum hype for XV and any coming KH titles.

May have realized how annoying Yokai Watch was because World of Final Fantasy is Pokemon meets Final Fantasy. Down to the poke-ball capturing and everything. :/

Kingdom hearts 3 will have star wars and marvel in it since disney.. which means Darth Vader could be in the FFXIv crossover- confirmed jedi/sith new classes in FFXIv >.>

Well World of Final Fantasy got a KH crossover so I don't see why FFXIV couldn't get a crossover event with KH. I really like to glamour Keyblades on my Ninja if they add those in. :3

Regarding Rewards: I think the keyblades should be off the table myself. Don't get me wrong, brandishing a pair on my ninja would be fantastic, but the animations would only fit blade-style job abilities. That'd leave 2/3 of the jobs unable to use them unless they specifically created keyblade-friendly animations for their job abilities. An unreasonable expectation for a temporary event, that. KH-themed weapons aren't out of the question though. One might say we already have one in the BLM/THM Heartless staff available at the gold saucer.

Personally I'd just like to encounter the KH specific characters like Riku and Sora. If they appeared as their KH3 selves and teased the game a little, the screenshots and CS's would be reward enough for me.

That said, a Chirithy or shadow heartless minion would be pretty harmless, no? At least, they'd be less likely to ruffle the feathers of all the wierdy KH haters in this thread.

Organization XIII weapons would be cool.
Can't see Sora's Kingdom Key being a thing though unless they ditched the mickey mouse keychain

I want Oathkeeper and Oblivion for glamour weapons for my Ninja! It just screams it! ^_^

Considering in my head-canon my WoL brandishes a pair of black and white swords and this does nicely.
