Fretting over appearances...

I never changed my character since 1.0 D: I don't RP or anything, but it would "break" the lore if my Lalafells mutates into something else.

I started as a Dunesfolk Lalafell, and that will never change!

Im really bad with Fantasias, I tried to like my kitty because friends wanted me to be one but I really didn't like it so after just a few days, I am now back as a Lala, and I will stay as one.

So I was thinking I was good, but then I was looking at old screenshots from the start of 3.0 when I had a different haircut, and now I want to go back to that and see how it looks in my current color scheme. >_< Ha ha I'm so indecisive. On the plus side, I don't need a Fantasia for that.

I spent weeks with the character creator before the game officially launched and I haven't changed my character since. I only ended up changing one entirely(albeit the same race) because I was tired of only liking the particular face model from a very specific angle). I have seven characters otherwise and none of them will ever be changed. Most likely not even their hairstyle.

More character slots please, SE.

I change my glamour every few days.

Since I started playing a little over a year ago I was mostly a catboy (originally seeker but then I switched to keeper because of the stats. Yes, really). Sometimes I'd fantasia just for a change (I tried female miqo'te, female au ra twice, and male lala thrice) but I usually went back to catboy a week later. A lot of people were telling me it was wasteful, but it's my own damn money and I don't regret any of those fantasias.

A couple days ago though I changed my character's name, and fantasia'd into a popoto again to go with it. I miss being a cat, but I'm actually okay with not being one with this ign.

I change my hair every few days though, usually only the color because I like matching with my ever-changing glamours.

I've always gone al in and stuck with what I make

but its not that character then

Always go with what makes you happy, never let your friends pressure you into changing.

I've changed to an Au Ra twice, but I can't get over the gigantic horns. Even then I still don't think I can leave my Miqo'te for long; the announcement of male miqo'te is what made me actually sign up for the beta >_>

I'm also about to make an alt as a Fem Roe. Not sure how much I'd actually play her, but I've learned I really like the giant ladies =D

I've fantasia'd a couple times. I started as a midlander. Then I went highlander cause I wanted to look tougher (i'm a wimp in real life)... Now I'm a Au Ra. Mostly I love how snarky Au Ra's can look with their facial expressions. :P So that's why I enjoy that character now.

I have to admit I'm tempted to try a Highlander again. I kind of miss being one. My first beta character was a Highlander so... I guess I'm kind of small in real life so I kind of like the fantasy of being a little intimidating looking... lol... Like, people don't wanna take me seriously in real life normally... lol Maybe I look silly in real life... >.<

If so many people can't settle on a single aesthetic, I don't understand why alts aren't an option. You don't need every single character to have every class and the best of the best gear, then whenever you feel you're missing a particular aesthetic, simply play it a bit?

I change my hairstyle and glamours on a frequent basis, but the free Fantasia from my veteran reward is still sitting in my retainer's inventory, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

I only changed my character's appearance once throughout the 10 months I've been playing. It was a female miqote with a similar look but it only lasted a week, I missed my catboy too much. So that basically wasted my fantasia and another I bought to change back. Though when I fantasia'd back, I made minor changes like his height.

Since Christmas, I've changed his hairstyle a couple of times; there's not that many hairstyles I think he looks good in. So I've mostly been happy with my character's appearance. c: Though I've been thinking of changing to a lalafell for a bit but I haven't really decided yet.

I have only fantasia'd once into a female miqo'te for only a little more than a week. I liked her, but I love my catboy more, so I changed back. I am thinking if I can get another fantasia, however, I'm going to change into a lalafell for a bit. I am hoping if I did, I'll start loving the game again, because I'll admit, I'm actually starting to get bored of the game after like 10 months of play. Anyone could use a change of pace, right? ;) My catboy will always be the original. c:

I have only changed the hairstyle of mine once, but changed it back after a few weeks. I change my glamour far more than I have fantasia'd. I change every now and then when I find a good looking glamour.

I started as a miqote in 2010, kept it till au ra came out then changed and never went back lol. Now I don't really change my characters looks...I will probably change the hair if they ever give us icehearts hair or that winning pony tail in the contest :/

This is true. I've thought about this before.

I guess people like having choice of gear. I don't it would be fun to re-level either, but that's just me.

You must have been very, very good at lying to yourself, because the gentle rise and fall of your new breasts causes you to sit up and give a high-pitched feminine cry of surprise...!

I always use fantasias then I change my hair AT LEAST five times a day >.< if not more. The only race I haven't been is Elzen and Roe. SE take more of my money.

I change it often, it depends on the class that I am playing. When I play a tank, I prefer to have short hairstyle, when I am healing, I prefer to go with cute hairstyle, like my current avatar, the twintail is adorable. When I am dpsing, I tend to pick a hairstyle that fits the class. Casters get long hairstyle, melee classes get the Cater from Type-0 hairstyle. When I am crafting, I tend to pick the hairstyle with two buns and when gathering, I grab the hairstyle that the Botanist guildmaster has.

Majority of the days when I am switching classes alot, I tend to pick my favourite (twintail) and stick with that. I would love to see the option to save our hairstyles with classes and armour.

I've stuck with the same look for awhile now. Occasionally I'll change it up when they release a new hairstyle or tweak some minor things, but usually fall back on what's tried and true for me.

I started the game as a Midlander and used my free fantasia to change to Highlander, then for like two years I was a Highlander.

After that I decided to change to Roegadyn, but it only lasted two weeks, I really liked him but the animations made me wanna go back.

Then during Heavensward I changed to an AuRa. I enjoyed my lizard and I still have him saved in case I wanna go back, as I'm thinking about to in the near future even if for just a week or two.

But then I decided to try male Miqo'te 4 months ago and it felt like I finelly found myself in this game. I loved the animations, the emotes and the voices (the reason I kinda changed from AuRa, as I still haven't found a voice I like). In that short 4 months span I changed back to Highlander and AuRa, but I always end going back to my cat. So even though I keep changing here and then I know what my character "really" looks like, and I don't think I'll ever change it for good.

But I go to the asthetician once a month for a hairstyle change. I do wish I could change my tail's shape but not the lenght, as it's mostly furr and that can be cut and grow up again to give our tails a different look but oh well.

I'm always trying to find some combination of race and clothes that looks cool. Heck, sometimes I kind of wonder if people prefer certain races for certain roles, such as having Roe or Highland hyur as a tank or Miqote as a healer. Right now I've noticed I get fewer commendations when playing as... however you spell that name for the race with the horns and wonder if it is because I'm smaller and don't look the part. o o

Used to be guilded with a guy that fantasia'd three times a week.

Have not used any of my free fantasias yet but I DO obsessively change my characters hairstyles ALL the time. The Aesthetician appreciates my business I bet. :D

I might use my free fantasia to switch my second Miqo'te to a Roe though. Not completely sure yet.
