Thanks for the tips guys, I am going soloing tonight.
It might not be imposible after all.
I am (was?) lv 40 THM, went to farm Diremite Web near Nophica's Wells. The mobs are around 35-37 and I was able to kille them in 3 shots (all of them at the same time, felt so good).
Exp gained? Around 30k in 1 hour or so. And remember, this is without chains. So 50k-60k with chains doesn't sound that crazy.
As a Gladiator, I can't fathom being able to solo in the early 30's and get the 50~80k.
But I think pterocs and antelopes are gonna be in for a stabbity-stab-stabbing treat tonight!
Lv32 PGL, just for kicks killing the same Wights I was on my 32THM as stated in the OP. I got 449 EXP per kill, and after 4 kills in 5 minutes = 1,796 x12 = 21k.
What mobs and where were you killing on your 30ish PGL?
Deaggro is not a glitch, it's a game mechanic. Bottlenecking is a tactic to keep from being absolutely destroyed in milliseconds by a large group of mobs you wouldn't otherwise. You try going into Mun Tuy and doing "AoE rotations" on 10 skeletons at the same time and see how long you get into your second cast lol.
Well they could go back to what they had before, where when the mob was going back, it would heal at a incredible rate. for some reason I recall people getting really upset about that. Now that it has been removed... Mobs STILL have the problem of running away from you if you aren't doing enough dmg to them. So if they restore it back to that mess, i don't think people will enjoy that at all.
The most efficient way to do this really is to find a group of mobs that aggro sound (flytraps, wolves, skeletons), and well, aggro the lot of them. If you're gonna push it, you will target a group that is +3-4 your level, and because of this, the initial damage taken (and even x10 ranged on return nukes) even with Stoneskin up is very high and the risk of death is still very real. That's the reason the EXP gain is so massive - because even running from them is risky.
