Quest could start at the Armorer guild where a Hyur (or Lalafell) with Sora's hairstyle goes on about having a vision of making a weapon in the shape of a Keyblade (and to get the items, you do an event FATE or some fetch quest or something). From a business perspective, crossover events are promotional ads. Both sides of the partnership making KH would benefit from advertising it. It seems unlikely that Disney would turn that down.
