If there are so many people who want all of those mounts to fly that the community team took notice of those requests, then I do not see why not. I'd get on my warbear immediately if it flew and it doesn't need to run it can just air paddle its magnificent way through the skies. I won't even be mad about it at all.

If they had to slap rockets on the giant tortoise to make it fly, well, it'd look even more like Gamera and I don't mind that one bit either. The game has plenty of other mounts you can ride on that don't seem too ridiculous.

I really don't want to see everything fly. I mean, Fat Chocobo was funny and all, but anything else would just be overkill in my opinion. Not sure why people can't just use two mounts and enjoy a good old-fashioned ground trek to your destination once in a while. I got Sleipnir for my Au Ra since any other ground mount felt weird for him and I bought him after I already had Twintania for my air mount.

The flying turtle does so with my last shred of dignity.

Good to see $E is tackling the important issues. The ones that really matter to the playerbase and contribute to the overall success of the game.

Why can't ground mounts get an ability to dash for a short while? It'd make them stand out from flying mounts rather than them having to be that special snowflake as well.

same goes for me and fenrir. i bought fenrir right after 3.1. i enjoy a good old fashioned ground trek o.o/ i am against a flying fenrir and flying adamantoise and flying everything...

According to this site, Fenrir is far more rare than the Tank mounts (excluding the DRK mount) and Adamantoise is between the two tank mounts. Regardless, mounts should not fly because of their rarity. Otherwise, why doesn't the Goobbue, the several War Steeds, Elbst or even the Direwolf fly? The value is in that they're rare, not the ability to fly. Unless we're going on the route that everything should fly, in which case if we're going to start making no sense even further, I want either wings or to have pixie dust sprinkled on me.

My guess is that Fenrir is gonna run on an ice slide type deal, where ice constantly generates in front of him and falls apart behind him.

I'm waiting for 3.2 to drop and see how it flies? True Gamera-style? I hope when the Lalafell fly on them that Lalafell cling to their shells like they do on Ahriman.

I also think this is pretty ridiculous (the turtle gaining flight in the first place). If they are going silly already, then yes, please make it fly like Gamera, rocket engines and all. I will then have to own it. Otherwise: meh.

I obviously know it's possible but the size of behemoth would require the power of something like a chinook to carry it. Which is why I said mount for a mount. And there is a point where resources to make something so huge fly become pointless. Like if you're carrying 1 person. Why have that person ride a behemoth that will ride in a chinook. When you can just... Fly in a airship.

The fuel tank needed to sustain a behemoth is a little ridiculousz

Now see, the Skybear I could also reasonably accept. It would be a nice acknowledgement of a much-loved glitch in game. Like I always joke, "The Skybear taught us all to remember to dream."
