Should I be annoyed?

umm I would say for blm that used fire4 during some small to moderate size of pull since I played it a lot lately.

1. TOO many tanks cannot hold aggro if I just spam fire2-->flare in heavy AoE situation. It problematic since QS doesn't available all the time and even it's up some tank cannot hold aggro so... single target is the only thing that might be safe for us. this problem happens with SMN too!!

2. In post 3.0 content if there are less than 4 active mobs many blm consider single target can take down mobs more effective, for me I will do single target if there are less than 3 active mobs

I think if you just tell your blm that you can handle there AoE well and proofed it I think you would be OK

BTW Fire4 will do quite massive damage already!!

I don´t bother to be annoyed anymore. Cause is hopeless with Duty finder.

When I tank:
I don´t remember a single dps can get hate off me with big pull or no tank stance at boss and top dps as tank with boss. Remember too much of dying dps, DRG 123 and no HT/Dot, BRD spam heavy shot, Blm spam blizard(not sure wtf going on), nin spam 123 and no ninjtsu, mnk can´t keep GL or pos, mch no hot shot and spam split shot, smn spam ruin II and not even know pet attack another thing or stand there chill out.

When I Dps:
So many bad tank with easy lose hate big pull and I has to switch target all the time.
Tank shitty opening and lose hate at boss. Like PLD no fight or flight, war tomahawk and drk no dark art.
If I see a dps perform shitty. All I need to do is double dps or kill hard hit mob faster. Well that is what I do most of time anyways lol.

When I heal:
I don´t know.. I just dps more than heal tank or dps XD. I mean if everyone is alive = no problem right XD? shitty eos or selene is doing a good job with keep them alive!

So I only give commendation IF i see a good player.

If you actually try to do good DPS in a dungeon, it's not unusual to have as high or higher DPS than all other 3 player combined at times...

People just don't care how long it takes to do that content, even though many of those people complain about not having time to do all content... -_-

A lot of this has to do with the way current leveling is. DR hardly give you a dungeon for your level so lot of people forget they even have post 50 abilities when emergency arises.

I've seen pugilists in high level dungeons just doing bootshine over and over. Could be a macro or something I guess but I chalked it up as bots

At first I mained only one DPS, ninja
Then i levelled a few more jobs to 60, dark knight being one of them
So naturally i started running DF with DRK because of the fast queues
Until one day I had a group where the two dps combined was doing less than me in full grit, half vit half str
Then I switched back to queuing as DPS because whatever happens, i can still carry the group's dps
unless the tank cant hold hate, which i almsot immediately rip the boss off him unless im on NIN using shadewalker, then its GG

time has evolved me into not flipping tables over DF unless its constant wipes, but yes, it is still annoying to get a bad group

Personally I dont think it something to get upset over. Most things you mention are a dps difference of 5-15%. It like losing your shit because dps doesnt LB boss and shave off 5 seconds from the fight. Sure people using silly non-optimaze skills. Sure they can be doing 20% more DPS if they stuck to bread and butter. But it really just means 5 or 10 extra seconds on mobs.

Although whole pulling thing just pisses me off. It super disrespectful to the tank.

Typically when I run dungeons I don't pay that close attention to the DPS classes I haven't leveled, (since I can't tell they're doing anything wrong unless DPS seems slow), and prior to relatively recently I hadn't leveled NIN. I also haven't run into players in the DF playing as NIN since I started playing it, but I can certainly understand that this must be a problem given that in one run I did not that long ago the BLM and Tank in the party were genuinely surprised that I was helping out with Smokescreen and Shadewalker. I was also genuinely surprised that they were surprised. Am I really the only one who makes an effort to understand how to use a new skill when I get it in this game?

No, it just isn't necessary 95% of the time.

I am leveling BLM and not a single Bard I have been paired up with has sang Foes Requiem, not a single bloody one, doesn't even impact their DPS, if a Bard sang Foes Requiem for me in a dungeon, I would insta comm them no questions asked.

I do get annoyed when a DPS at 60 can barely manage to push out any DPS, I don't use a parser but I can tell when a player is doing terribly by looking at their hate table or just watching them play, I know they don't have to be top tier raid material in dungeons, but relatively competent would be nice. I mean, I see so many Dragoons using Ring of Thorns without combo-ing it and it drives me up the wall, tool-tips are there to help!

I don't really count myself as a lazy NIN/dps. Just that occasionally I forget things (hello goad) or get confused about what the other dps/tank are doing especially in a random pug

...but everything usually works out in the end either way.

I didn't claim it was necessary to use constantly. I was only using it at times when it looked like the BLM might steal aggro, (easy for them to do at certain points, even with good tanks), or during boss fights just to make things easier over all. They were acting as though no NINs ever use them, regardless of the circumstance.....
