Latency will never be completely eliminated for everyone. On behalf of my Australian friends in the MMO community bring back queues!
As a mage, I needed it - I don't know if its as important for non-mage. I vote bring it back

I understand some people are button mashers, and the queing system could be a little bit of a pain maybe pre-1.16? And when you button mash and have elemental skill qued and you all the sudden need to heal, could be a problem. After 1.17 though i was not seeing anyproblems with queing since you could actually see the action now that was qued, and most people stopped mashing since server latency had been brought down A LITTLE bit. Since servers have been worked on a little since 1.16. I liked the queing system. I could actually kinda pre-plan some of my actions. and made curing people especially w/o cure spells being aoe, alot easier. please bring back queing and like every post that says so. I personally do not know anyone in game that was complaining about queing actions.
Please bring this feature back! I'm no more useful in raids and really slow with healing and buffing now.

Bring it back, combat is so much more slow and clunky now. Now it sometimes takes multiple attempts for an ability to trigger and everything takes way too long. Bring back queueing!
Combat was better with queuing. Please restore it to the game.
I would like to see this brought back as well. Maybe add a small icon queue indicator that shows small icons of your next 3 actions queued and clicking them will remove them out of queue in case of emergency.

Without am now having to wait and in turn make battles long witch is funny cause i remember reading they wanted this to be a fast pace game and in turn by removing this they have made it slower
Before update 1.19, combat was fluid and fast, I could use an action and queue up my next ability… now combat is slow, choppy, and frustrating… I often find myself rapidly pressing the same button waiting for an action to go off,.. and staring at my action bar to make sure that it went off, rather than pay attention to the battle itself.
It’s terrible, before,.. if the tank died I could use chainspell and queue raise and it would execute that action asap and the tank would be up and ready to take over again, saving the whole battle from going downhill… now, I use chainspell and since raise doesn’t queue, the tank never gets raised and the whole party wipes… how is this fun?
Why would SE ever think this was a good idea is far beyond me… maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if there was no lag, but new flash! There is A LOT of lag. Seems like the majority of people like being able to queue actions up, so either SE should bring back queue, OR they should add an option in config to give the option to queue or not.
In my opinion, 1.19 was absolutely amazing! Except for getting rid of queue… this single change makes me want to smack my head against the wall several times and ask “WTF WERE THEY THINKING!?”… UGHH! anyways that’s my opinion :P
I don't know if it's the Que, the Lag or if the Action Bar is just broken but for Raging Strike I should not be getting "You cannot use that ability at this time" 5 times in a row even though the Cooldown is ready and there is no prerequisite condition needed.
Sometimes all my abilities go off with no problem and other times I get repeated "You cannot use this ability..." which leads me to think it is a coding problem in the Cooldown Timers and "Ready Status" of the abilities...probably made worse by inconsistent Lag.
I don't really care what is causing this though...just please fix it.
Oh God, this whole "Change then bitch!" argument is such BS. This is such a moot point. You can't blame the same people for both. Like Darte said, different strokes then. I'd like it back as it made casting far more easy to manage in laggy areas to not have to worry about missing a cure and killing someone. If anything, and it was asked to be removed, wasn't it just for the animation side of it? How animations wouldn't complete?

And if they did want it gone, did they know it was just a Queue and not lag? Because sometimes I don't think they do. I remember a while ago people complaining because they enter a skill and it doesn't set off. This gave the impression they thought they could chain them immediately after pressing the skill, and that they didn't understand it was a queue.
Pretty much killed the DoM aspect of the game for me. Queuing was a big part of spellcasting on time for me. Now if I don't press it at exactly the right time, I just stand there. Feels like some kind of invisible quicktime event of clunk. :|
Please bring it back, or at least make it an option in the game options. Then everyone can be happy.
Please bring back the queue of actions. I usually just browse and read the forums, but after trying my Conj. after this update, I feel that I need to post about this. It really ruins the combat gameplay and I don't see any reason why it needed to be taken out.

Short, and simple: It doesn't fit current battle system.
I don't know why people ever complained about it. Now it seems battle is not fluid at all and slow paced again.
Not queueing is fine. I don't feel it being clunky at all. Took me all of... 10 minutes to get used to it. It's just different, which people love to instantly assume means it's bad.

I've gotten used to things post patch as a Conjurer, but it did take some getting used to. This is because the only way to efficiently know when you can start casting again back-to-back is to wait for the pop-up info as a signal. So if you start just a little early, you won't cast, and you will have to navigate the action bar again and recast on your target which takes an extra second or 2 with a controller, and those seconds are crucial sometimes.
I don't know why people wanted this removed. Can someone explain?

give us the option next time you decide to do something like this
There are people on both sides of the fence some for getting rid of queue actions and some against it
the best way to allow people to play they way they want is to give them the option. This would not have been an issue if an option was implemented into the patch. Something simple like the targeting options just a yes or no button. We don't all have to agree on how we should play the game but we should be allowed the choice on how we "can" play.
Please bring the option of queue back

I also hope they bring queuing back.
Since 1.19 went live we can select a cure and select a sub-target while still casting the previous spell -- but if we press to confirm the sub-target before the first spell completely finishes, it can take a second before we realize it didn't register.
Add to that the new beastmen strongholds like Zahar'ak where you sometimes have 30 players and monsters around, and it can be very hard to see if your character finished the previous spell.

It is so annoying!
The removal of queuing actions sucks horribly. At least let us have one action able to be in queue. I've died so many times because a heal wouldn't initiate. Especially, since Firm Conviction has been gimped; death is always imminent. It's even worse since since gnats and hedgemoles have increased their teleport/burrow rate. It's just too frustrating. And Siphon MP or TP on a KO'd target is barely even possible now.
Wait.... people complained about queuing? What is wrong with them? I don't think SE changed the queues based on those people complaining. Though, I still feel that it was a ridiculous mistake.
Can someone tell me if they fixed this in the 1.19a patch I left the game because of this and other reasons associated with the game but if they fixed this aspect of the game I would definitely think of coming back I just wanted confirmation if this part of the game was fixed or if it's still the same.
I read the patch notes but they are generalized with not specifics to this issue so I wanted to see if anyone could give me a heads of about this patch fixing this aspect of the game.

Upon reviewing all of the feedback we collected, the development team has decided to re-implement the ability to queue actions in patch 1.20.
Players will also be able to enable the feature by using a text command, as well. Choose which method you want to use to fit your favored style of play!
Why even make it an option? Maybe i'm not thinking it through but whats the advantage of NOT having a skill in queue?
