Anyone else getting seriously aggrivated by the alexander normal loot system?

Which is what we do. Farm floor 1 until everyone has their drop, then move onto floor 2. If RNG is being annoying and its taking longer, those double lens drops that no one wants now XD We do the other floors another day so people can do something else.

DF'd 1-4 this week solo on Sunday night, 1 run each for my loots - I wasn't picky and just rolled on whatever dropped.
i190 gear is old news, shouldn't worry about it too much.

Actually don't think the system is bad. If you really don't like it, don't do it. I know its not as simple as that for some people but seriously if your not progressing Savage then surely eso gear is enough? Idk I like the system because it adds multiple ways to gear up. Again not as simple for some people but if you have an FC or static then it doesn't hurt to ask for help, I always help people who need last minute loot if I'm not busy in my FC. I'm not sure what you guys want as alternative but I think its fine the way it is, imo. :)

Sounds like it's working as intended. A few weeks for body and pants and by the time you get them you'll have everything else from Alex. High item level combined with a job specific style, yay! I don't understand how people can have a problem with this. It really doesn't take long to gear up one job (outside of savage).

Personally, since I don't have a static to raid savage with, I'm not even worried about my main's item level. No point in farming a raid for just gear's sake. Extremes aren't going anywhere, so I'm taking my time leveling alts, my chocobo and crafting classes, doing hunts and old beast tribe dailies, along with doing a roulette or an Alex floor every now and then. The addition of story mode was nice, although I find it a bit easier than Crystal Tower was. It's fun to go and experience the raid at least once. The gear isn't my main motivator, and that's why I don't plan on farming it in PF. It's nice to have an alternative to esoteric gear though if it happens to drop.

I think a lot of people who don't raid savage are needlessly adopting the rush mentality from savage players who are eager to see the hardest content. What's the rush if you're not even going to use the gear for anything more difficult than the content you are currently doing? The next 24 man raid will be out soon and all of the effort put in Alex PF farming will be invalidated. No need to grind if you don't enjoy it. I think the system is just fine. :)

I have a weekly run with my FC. 4 runs of every floor. Everyone needs on everything, pretty much. Seems to work perfectly well.

no OP, but that's because i remember the stupid amount of dragoon drops 2.0 era.

I will admit even as a Dragoon 4 life even I was sick of all that Dragoon gear. NOT! MORE DRAGOON DROPS MORE MORE MORE ! lol

I stopped running it after the second week.
