What is the actual issue stopping you from playing in the OP exactly?
At the time Aether data center was on fire and people had major issues getting online.
Those issues were resolved after about a week once people stopped playing 24/7 and went back to their regular schedules.
I guarantee the problem is not on SE's end.
And if you say, "I'm trying to play on Balmung", no, that's still not SE's problem that you're trying to play on a full server.
You could have been playing the game on nearly any other server, so it's your own fault for refusing to play on anything but a full server. You're not getting a refund for that, and most definitely don't deserve one.
queue times? lmao it can say 500 queue and i just cancel it and click play again and it let me in. The queue system in this game is a joke and a lie. Unless for some reason on your world is really does work on mine it can say 1 or 1000 in queue and i cancel and reclick play and it let me right in without waiting.
Too the OP you are playing on maybe the most full server when someone ask what server do you say i should play on people say balmung. It so full i would never join it even if they pay me too.
This post is no longer relevant, it was twenty days ago. It was brought back by someone asking about their refund request. Any queue issues on Balmung have since been fixed.
They basically don't give refunds...at least it is extremely rare. Read your user agreement. There is very specific language in there that basically provides an escape clause for just about anything once you install and register the code.
The opening section from the US/CA Windows EULA:
Quote:

Well that's usually what happens if you play on packed server ;)
In the case of the Mac client, they ARE providing refunds because they didn't tell anyone what the required specs were to run it decently until after they'd already bought it, which is blatant false advertising.
