Where is the friendliness?

I haven't had a problem like this in Rabinastre, lol. I've had people randomly cure me tons of times, want me into parties, etc. I'm pretty social with people though, and like to shout jokes, or stupid/funny statements.

Funny,some random guy waved me,but i was in auto-run mode,and it was to late to give a /wave back,i feel bad for that because i have no problem on waving random players.
But yeah,it seems there are less friendly players every time :I.

You know, the few times I've actually tried to Raise dead people they're not paying attention and just return before I can finish casting anyway.

I mean I don't wave to hardly anyone I see but that's because I'd have to stop running, target them, open up the emote menu, scroll down to and select wave. I do however give out Congrats if I see someone rank up near me.

If a stranger heal me I say thanks

I do the /cheer or /congratulate to those who PL up or R up as well. I think I surprised a Japanese player late one night doing that. I can't read or speak Japanese but they seemed very excited. That felt good though. Hopefully it put a little positivity in their mind that not ALL Western players are immature or selfish or w/e other negative monikers we have gotten from those bad apples ruining our barrel or goodness. :p

@ MrCale, I see you are also on server Saronia. And I can promise you if you come running by my miqote, Altera Cephon and do an emote or /tell to me, I will do so in return. Just like ive done with all others whos done so ^^

I just make it a point to have conversations with people i know in say. Once the ball starts rolling people always join in.

thats so true. no one wants to team up or for anything. and when u Do get someone they have jerk/stuck up attitude, like if your wasting their time. I soloed myself to 45.

Oh heeey :D Yeah i deleted everyone when i was thinking about moving to another server when our server looked so... dead.
Then went idle on the game for 3 months till the last patch.
Then saw that people got back in after that patch and decided to stay lol.

They need to fix the chat box.
- We need more chat channels.
- We need an easy way to show/hide various channels.
- We need the ability to talk into any channel with a one/two letter command (ie... /t, /s, /sh, /1, /2, /3, /w, etc)

Also - remove the timer on crafting. It adds no value to the mini-"game". It just penalizes me for chatting...

I have many friends here across different Linkshells... so Eorzea is actually quite lively to me -- both in the cities and out in the field.
