Ranged physical dps like bard is my bane. Idk why but I hate archers in any game. But tanks would be my best role followed by dps (if I feel lazy or want to be carried) then healer, which I'm decent at.

I'm decent at pretty much everything but not amazing at anything, so...yeah.
In general I'm worst at close range (melee dps, tanks) because I don't see AoE if I zoom out, but if I zoom in, I only see giant explosions and that's it.
I don't suck at it though, I just dislike it enough to never play them much (especially MNK and WAR) so I have no practice with those classes, making them my worst :)
I would probably say tank and healer (for the former I never leveled past 16 and for the latter it's basically trying to move that darned targeting reticle with controller buttons).
I joined the Ninja hype train during 2.4
I suck horribly at it.
I'll give you a regen though :3
I am fine with every role but i am not very good with paladin, ninja and monk (>_<)
I am still practicing being a tank though
btw i donot think that tank or healer shaming/blaming is such a big thing on japanese servers :/
SMN. I'm bad at casters in general since I don't like committing myself to one spot for longer than a few seconds. DoT management trips me up. Add in managing a pet on top of all that and I'm just a mess.
Also, I leveled SCH first so my SMN is at 50 without me knowing what to do with it after level 30. :/
I'm specially bad with anything that requires you to repeat a rotation over and over. So, DPS. Even though I play both DRG and BLM, I'll always prefer to play a reactive job, like tank or healer, which don't requiere you to memorize a rotation, but to interact with the encounter and pay attention.
Specially the healer classes, which I love, allow me to perform two jobs at the same time, in which their DPS side doesn't requiere a ZOMG rotation and I still can heal in a reactive way depending on the damage the party is taking.
Here? Tank. No snap threat + morons in pugs + no patience = NOPE.
Role? I can't say. I think I'm competent in all three. I would say I'm most comfortable healing and tanking. So, by that logic, I guess DPS would be my worst. As far as jobs go, BLM is my worst by far. Can't play it for shit.
Even though I have got all of my jobs to at least Level 30, I would say that the only ones that could be my weak points are the ones that I do not yet have to Level 50. Those are my Warrior, Monk and Bard.
I am a bad melee
People should run screaming if they see me in healer gear...yeah...so bad...
I enjoy all 3 main roles, DPS, tanking and healing. Worst classes, for me would be SMN and DRG due to the simple fact, I don't play them XD bit of practice and learning the rotation and I know I would be decent with them. Then again, never been a huge fan of pet classes/jobs, albeit I'm not too bad on my alt SCH ^_^
I'm bad at being bad.
Can't do Paladin to save my life.
No idea why people think it's easier than WAR.
PLD is so hard to manage aggro at early levels.
Does Shield Oath really help later?
Not too good in melee either. I can't focus in and out like that in AoE's.
So you can imagine I'm part of the DRG family of death. XD
Now go be a fresh 30 PLD with no tank stance and be at the mercy of BiS folks in DF.
Healing, not that I don't enjoy it. I feel comfortable with all roles. Just it's the one I do the least because either someone needs a Tank (I main that) or a DPS (Odd right?) Might be the people I play with.
I would say my weakest jobs are, in order - Summoner, Scholar
I just can't play anything that involves pets, nor am I really interested to try and learn them at this stage of the game.
Melee DPS is my first love, WAR is my 2nd.
I'd say SMN is pretty plain compared with SCH. Also I prefer WAR more than PLD for tanking/main tank.
don't ask me to heal anything above Ramuh hm.
we will all die. horribly.
Healing. It causes me a lot of stress to think everybody is gonna die and will be all my fault. :(
DPS is my worst - can't seem to keep up with the rotations and take note of mechanics all at once.
I am very comfortable with tanking though except for Praetorium and CM - because I never knew the mechanics because I never had it not speed-ran.
I can heal anytime, anywhere.
In this game...baaaaaaard. Most boring class ever...
In general - melee dps. Just not my thing. I'm a dedicated healer and sometimes magic dps!
CUL!!!!!! Has me travelling all around Erozea to make soup Dx
Tanking I think is my issue. This may just be me but its the one job everyone expects you to be fully maxed out on gear and know the skills and dungeons. As a DPS, if you screw up its no big deal, may not even notice. Healers, well as long as no one dies your pretty safe, but as a tank if even one mob runs astray the entire team knows your screwed up in some way. I dunno, I don't mind tanking to a point, but doing it for my FC is a LOT better than doing it for randoms and I've yet to even try tanking any primals other than Ifrit normal.
If we're talking specifically about roles, then it would be DPS. The main reason being that it takes forever to even get into a group using the role, and once you're in you're basically spamming the same handful of skills for the entire duration, in the exact same order.
If we're talking about jobs, then I'm afraid Summoner and Warrior need to top the list. Summoner has been a huge let down for me due to it's incredibly weak pets. It doesn't feel like a summoning job, it just feels like a sapper with a turret. They don't even make use of the unique elemental properties of each summon. Warrior I dislike primarily because their main defensive skill is on the GCD (Inner Beast) and they lack support skills like Cover. Holmgang is no match for Invincible either.
I play most of my jobs just to keep up the variety, but those are the two I play the least.
Don't know... Because only have Bard lvl50.
Don't have enough time to lvl other class.
But I admit my bard skill just an average Bardie...
Melee, especially MNK. I hate it especially when mobs turn to do a random target attack, and just at that moment I press my key on a directional attack. Unpredictable, and so frustrating. Melee is so at the mercy of the tank, too. It's so obvious when you get a tank that has played melee before versus one that probably didn't even know there are positional attacks.
And it might be just me, but MNK feels so weak when forced to attack from the front, i.e. questing and soloing things like the hunting log etc.
Oh, I so know where you're coming from here. It's for this reason I do my upmost to keep bosses as still as possible when we have melee in the group. It annoys me to no end when people run around and change the boss direction every few seconds.
Tip for those kinds of tanks. If you're moving to avoid a conal AoE or similar, move BACK to the pointy end of the targeting circle immediately after the attack fires. You can almost always get back to your original spot before the boss moves to face you! The less the beast moves, the easier it is for the DPS and the quicker the boss will die!
It's a toss up between SMN and SCH for me. Micromanaging a pet on a console feels like junk. These are the two jobs where there are too many buttons or macros required for the console to handle. I play them when I feel like being just as bad as everyone else.
Well it's not that bad. Mainly Scholar here and on PC yet using a PS4 Controller. Managing a Pet isn't needed in 98% of the Content yet things like Coils or Extreme Bosses ... you manually just need to position Eos/Selene and the thing is done. (In that case, I did it at the start of Titan Extreme since she won't fall to the Ground like Players do when they go out of bounds ^^)

Curses are together for quick Access. Swiftcast and Ress for fast Ressurection. Aetherflow and Drain for quick Damage (Yes, as a Scholar I also tend to DPS and it gets hectic ^^).
If I know there is a Boss with trash Mechanics (Let's say the first Wanderers Palace HM Boss) I begin casting Succor, Adlo on Tank and Stoneskin. Tank Pulls and builds Hate. I follow with Aetherflow/Sacred Soil and then Cleric Stance.
Putting Bio II first --> Bio --> Misma II --> Ruin II --> Energy Drain --> Ruin II --> Energy Drain and if everything is still fine... Shadow Flare , Ruin II Spam 'til Aetherflow becomes available again. Of course, re-applying DoT's is a must for me.
Never underestimate Energy Drain, in Low Lv. Dungeon it hits pretty hard with Cleric Stance ...^^
Re-Using Sacred Soil isn't a bad thing, it tends to give a free Succor after all =)
When in Cleric Stance, I also often tend to give the Tank Eye for an Eye and buff my Pet with Rouse so the Pet does the Healing Part.
There is honestly no need to micromanage your Pet yet, for Hardcore Scholar's (Which I am not... definitely not *lol*) they manually play the Pet with their Heals/Buffs and Positioning.
After all, I can't imagine you being one of these Scholars who "Auto-Follow" the Tank through the Dungeons. So it can't be that bad ^^
Sch and Nin, some reason those only two I fail at or duff up rotation on >.o
feel way more at home as a tank , drg and bard. well whm sometimes >>
I'm a good Paladin and a good Scholar. I'm decent as a Warrior, but I need more practice. I'm a horrendous White Mage. I always stand there feeling like I should be doing stuff so I either massively overheal, jump up and down nervously, or fail miserably at DPS because it feels so clunky to me and end up stuck in cleric stance then freak and waste Benediction on nothing in particular. I'm not awful at DPS, but I'm not great either. Mostly it comes from lack of play time, which can lead to some lulzy moments simply by virtue of me hitting wrong keys. Earlier tonight I managed to epic fail a triple flare simply by hitting one wrong key: Flare > Convert > Flare > Mega-Ether > Swiftcast > Sleep. >.<
It's alright, my static loves me anyway, they just make me play Paladin and Scholar a lot... >.>
Can't dps to save my life and rotations make my head spin. My tanking isn't much better.
But I really enjoy playing whack-a-mole with hp bars so it works out.
My weakest are DPS classes. Blackmage? "Fire, fire, fire3proc, fire..... out of MP, blizzard x23, oh right, maybe i should switch back to fire now?" Summoner I do.... reasonably well, since I'm used to scholar.
My best DPS class is probably Monk, but that doesn't say much. I'm most likely doing more damage with non-Defiance, STR-accessorized warrior as with my monk.
In order...
Warrior/Scholar
White Mage
.
.
.
Paladin
Monk
.
.
Summoner
.
.
.
.
.
Other DPS classes
Healing in general. Now, I have the fundamentals for both White Mage and Scholar well in mind. I understand the jobs enough to have gotten every Zenith in a reasonable amount of time, so I couldn't overgear content and face roll things. So why is healing the bane of my existence? I can't for the life of me put band-aids on bads. I don't like healing failures. It's why I DPS or Tank. If someone screws up, I can watch them burn. As a healer, I'm expected to heal them if they're not smart enough to not stand in AoE's. Screw that noise. Maybe if you give me a Disciple of War DPS, I'll think about it.
I haven't tried it yet in this game, but tank it's my worst role. I am not bad, but in general I get stressed more easily when I am tanking
Not that im particularly bad at it but Healer would be my worst. Im actually equally good at all roles but playing whack-a-mole with the Party List isnt my cup of tea. Only healer I ever enjoyed was Bounty Hunter in SWTOR, and thats because I just couldnt stop laughing at how ridiculous it was shooting players with green healing bullets. ;)
Worst is probably Ninja... I leveled it to 50 and then only used it for the things like CT weekly when it got me faster queues than ranged did. Last time I used them the Mudras kept lagging out and failing which is frustrating to have all your job-related skills go on cooldown together with nothing more than the Derp Bunny to show for it. Due to Mudra lag being a thing I'm never 100% sure when it gives me a result I didn't want because of me doing it wrong, or because of the lag making actions not register properly.
I do use Ninja in Coerthas however, when I have to go to Natalan for a couple of the Ixali quests where I can do them as invisible. However I've never PVP'd with them (which I had thought I would) because I already have SMN/SCH/BLM down in PVP and don't want to go from contributing towards the team's win to contributing to its loss instead. People were worried about NIN's hide being OP in PVP but I've killed far far more of them than they have me.
Re: SCH and PVP healing, I actually learned healing on the PVP side in Frontlines and then had to adapt the knowledge back to PVE afterwards. There's no class better at taunting and distracting a party and kiting them away from objectives than SCH in my opinion. Got a Paladin to chase me up a ramp and around a pole 3 times while I waited on an ability to come off CD, and then it did and I blasted him off the cliff to his death. Another time I had 5 players attacking me at once- 2 Dragoons doing their main DPS combo, a tank, and two casters, and not only did I survive that, I showed my party which ones to focus down one at a time while their attention was on me.
...wait, role? Um...probably tank. Too far from being the confident leader type tbh, and what I've been noticing lately, replacing VIT with STR?... That simply confuses me even more. xD
