An artist is his own worst critic.
If this is something you feel you want to do then I say go for it. I'll contribute anyway I can if it'd help develop it (as long as it's not drawing :p), and there's no telling where it could lead. RedvsBlue started out as a fan thing, it ended up being bought by Bungie.
Blizzard have funded some rock bands that made warcraft-based songs.
You could end up being noticed by S.E and asked to work on possible forum/website art or other things. Never know till you try.

Heck with the rapidity and sheer size of my forum posts they may ask me to be a voluntary community rep XD I'd happily do it too, so I could pop up in forums with new info to tell everyone then talk with them about what they think about it. Constantly active Rep <> Community content discussions could do wonders for the vibe some of the forum threads have. (As well as shorten the time it takes for a troll to get banned since the Rep would spot them sooner)

I should spend 10 minutes writing a complete post rather than 30 seconds writing the baseline then another 4 minutes 30 seconds updating it with the extra stuff I wanted to say.

My forum posting is as bad as content updates, you only get it bits at a time and have to keep checking to make sure there's no upcoming changes.

Good idea and very optimistic but it isn't very likely. Japan is full of more artists in one area than I have ever seen, anytime you go to a book store in Japan they have books sitting there and a sticky wall for people to post all their drawings. I have seen stuff in those places that rival the best well known animators. Also the books are amazing and they are usually signed by the artist. Don't get me wrong I haven't seen you work and you could easily be better than any of those people lol, just saying though.

Yeah but getting members of the community for this kinda stuff I would think would be better or a more clever decision than hiring someone. I mean, people talk to the the person making the artwork on the forum and in-game, that makes it feel a little bit more special.

And yeah Japan probably by now has the largest amount of artists in the world.

The complete opposite to that of course would be Disney.

I usually diffirentiate between people by their signatures, so like, I see a certain signature and mark it as "the signature of a good person" and likewise for bad and such. that way I can remember who they are just by seeing their signature first.

I can't see admins closing this thread though, it's more of a 'general discussion' thread in the 'general discussion' forum so it's sort of serving it's purpose.

Yet it seems like it is just me and you talking to each other here, we lost a member or two :O

o_o;; I watched Pokemon about 13 years ago. Damn it really has been that long.

I've watched it off and on since about 98. The show got really bad around 04-08, it just wasn't Pokemon. But with the new generation, They are closer to the good old days than they have ever been. They even brought back the character info on all the cards. They haven't done that since 02.

The games have had a rebirth too. Black and White are wonderfull. I just can't understand what's going on most of the time since my version is in Japanese. I do ok with kana, just can't get kanji yet. =)

First anime I ever saw was Vampire Hunter D....crikey that was almost 20 years ago.

From there I went on to stuff like Project A-Ko, Devil Hunter Yohko, Ranma 1/2, Plastic Little, etc., up to present day with Demon King Daimao...all sharing a common theme. Can you guess what that theme is??

I know quite a few people on the forums that are on Selbina, if I don't know them I've seen em for sure. I only have two in my ls though that actively speak. My boyfriend has spoken a few times on here and plays but it doesn't really count outside of his big argument he got around the 1.18 battle changes. Good times right?

Nobody has mentioned AKIRA yet. that was a good movie.

Akira sucked. Those three old kids pissed me off. I swear, to me it looks like they have the troll face.

Hmmm I think we should try to convert Rinoa to a Wutai player instead one of Kashuan. Actually I need to convert Kona as well :O, Kona you would get along with Ecchi Himei from our server, he is a bloke like you and really enjoys the same types of anime as you.

I'll be making a bunch more charectors, I'll have to put one on Wutai. Wutai was actually my first server, I played on their until i got frightened by being in such a big crowd. So, What race for my Wutai Character. I was thinking a female Elezen.

No, there are several reasons I disliked Akira.
1. The Kids.
2. The guy can't control his powers. People who can't control their power, don't have the will to use it. Annoy me.
3. Ending. Makes it seem like he destroyed the world. I like sad endings if they are good, but him destroying everything was lame.
4. The only characters I liked was Akira's friend, and that police chief.
5. The lover interest was killed in the lamest of ways.
