Another throw back to FFXI... I used auto translate alot, mostly ones that were LS jokes...

I also developed a bad habit of pressing escape when I want to clear the chat input box for IMs... in FFXI it cleared the box... on IM services, it closes the window.

Also when people complain to me on IMs I have a tendency to "/comfort" every once in awhile it's a friend who never played an MMO and they are like "wtf?"

- When a Craftsmen failed, you say; "lololol You just botched it!"
- When you see a Ladybug and think; "Meh, only R3"
- When you think of Cid whenever you see a Blonde-haired Scientist
- When your place is messy and you wished you could just NPC them.
- When you think Africa is Aldenard
- When you're playing basketball and a friend of yours has a Target, you ask "Which did
you use? Mode A B or C?
- When you pass a dog behind a fence and think "That's definitely gonna Aggro"
- When you wish you had a Chocobo instead of your Car/Motorcycle
- When you call the Military; The Garlean.
- When you call an Errand; Behest
- When you call your Office a Dungeon and your Boss The Party Leader.

when you start calling people by their in game names or refer to them as such to people in real life whether you know their real name or not...

When you notice someone walking behind you in a hallway, following your path almost exactly, and you get annoyed, turn around and yell "Stop auto-following me!!!"

...you quit a Party because "..they're not playing their job right."...or you stay in the party and chase away the main tank or healer with constant "advice".

I know this was a FFXI problem (to me) but I hope XIV does not repeat, though I'm sure it will.

Here's one, true story, I was at work typing up an email and I actually used the word 'Congratulations' at the start of it. So I typed the letters "Con" then I hit TAB for the auto translator.... -_- I was all wait, what? No auto-translator? My coworker in the cube next to me, a non gamer, looked over and asked, "What's wrong?" ummm yeah nothing at all :)

Seriously... Cosplay needs to stop. There's a reason normal people don't run around dressed as fruity elves trying to cast spells and vanquish dragons all day IRL... Because they're too busy being higher ranked and better geared than you in the actual game!

The only times I have ever done something like this is when someone asked me to go somewhere and I tried to use my map to find out where it was (FFXI days) and I tried to "check" someone walking down the road because I didn't recognize them (also FFXI days). These have since stopped lol.

this is actually helpful.. you will catch more fish, more night time light means more fish are hunting earlier than dawn.

Duuude007, My Great-grandfather told me that was the best time to fish.

not from XIV but I use to think about my adventures in XI when I would pass a cow pasture and want to go explore the fields.

Bishop, I actually do go exploring in fields, I find lots of stuff in the woods too. Sometimes I'll get a little carried away and find myself 10 miles from home (one time it was 20 miles)

Seriously, last night I had an epic dream about finally having chocbos..It was so fun, and they ran super fast for some reason. Like everyone on the server was riding one at the same time..it was like a chocobo party!! And when my rental chocbo's timer ran out, I just hopped on the back of my bf's chocobo and we sprinted off into the distance *-*
