They could've gave a Walking Egg minion, kind of like Sheldon from Garfield & Friends. If not, then another Spriggan minion carrying those fancy eggs. Anything that doesn't clutter inventory like tacky clothes or housing items that few can even use.

I would have loved to get a spriggan minion, they're really cute, and there are no spriggan minion currently which is a shame. Beside that I wonder what the lucky egg we get is about, they don't say; is it food we can eat or something we use as tabletop in our room like the St-Valentine cake?
I have a private room in our FC house so personally I love the indoor housing items.
We do have a Spriggan minion! I seen one while doing the quest. It's called "Dust Bunny"
Dust Bunny is a minion that can be purchased from Auriana for 30 Allagan Tomestones of Mythology in Revenant's Toll, Mor Dhona

My main complaint is the amount of damage the spriggan attack does. When people try to do it later on, when there's less people doing it....it's going to take FOREVER. It takes a few minutes now with a group of 15-20. Imagine with only 2-3 people...
There's also another Spriggan minion...
I would like a walking egg minion though, that would be cool XD maybe next year?
We talking about borrowed traditions from ancient cultural adaptation?

I would've LOVED another Spriggan minion, I'm a huge minion fiend and can't get enough of them. Just 1 minion would've excited me much more than the 4 pairs of earrings you get, they're just... not exciting. at all. To me anyway, apparently there's plenty out there though that cant get enough of them or they wouldn't keep giving them out.
Well I for one, like those earrings. Also gonna aim to get at least two of those lamps for future purposes. The hats from last year were okay, but I wish they'd not cover my hair. From the pictures, you can't even wear the hat with the matching earrings, but it still looks nice when mix'd and match'd with other glamours. Be creative and the event prizes can be awesome to you.
Maybe it's because I'm a guy that really doesn't care about jewellery. *Shrug*
I will admit though, hunting eggs as a Spriggan is fun, just wish I had something more substantial to work for.
I really liked this Easter quest. Transformation quests are my favorite. :D
You know what would make great rewards for seasonal events? Especially ones involving transformation, like this? Allowing us to keep to keep those special abilities. They could restrict their usage to cities too, for all I care (though the fact that the transformation takes away all our skills is limiting already anyway). But yeah, being able to turn into a spriggan, or a voidsent, or whatever, at will - that would be nice.
Furniture is definitely ... sketchy, because it mainly caters only to those who have a house, and that ratio, as we know, is abysmal (and it doesn't even seem to bother SE enough). Accessories and clothes ... well, some are nice at least. They are too seasonal and many of them don't even mix well with common gear, but well yeah, variety is great. Although I find it funny (not in a good way) that if you try to combine last year's egg cap with this year's earrings....well, you won't be seeing the earring at all.
As for the 3.0 excuse - you'd think it's good justification, but I'm just not convinced. There's always something coming up, or just barely behind, to have the primary focus on. I'm not sure how far that does/should go, to be honest.
(Forum managers, would you kindly, for the love ALL THE GODS, remove this blasted character limit already, that's punishing me ONCE AGAIN, for a whole 190 characters now??? Thank you very much.)
can't keep anything that isn't given to us. Someone else do the transforming on us.
Also to those in a LS with a house (the lamp is indoor, can be placed in the personal room of a LS house)Quote:

With all the transformation we've done, we could have ended up with the knowledge long ago. Or, say, an item that "stores" the magic that can be activated by us. It's not like there aren't way to make it work.
And yeah, if you are in a FC in which you feel safe enough to spend all the gil on a room of your own... that still doesn't apply to everyone though.
Demon Box from weddings is also a spriggan. As for the furnishings.. bomb lantern is well the bomb lol. Otherwise the egg lamp looks ok... not as good as the seasonal furnishings from FFXI. Each city had a furnishing you could do the quest for. IE: a "faberge egg" per city get all 3 got a crystal one that rotated and changed colors. Holloween we had different lanterns, Snoll, Mandragora, and a jackolantern.
I would have liked to see a white spriggan minion that carries an egg. Or maybe some pastel colored barding.
i have to agree, the lamp is nice.
But the earrings?...
If they actually had any usefulness beyond looks it would be nice.
Now i've asked for this multiple times before, and i might aswell do it again. (see refrence link)
The event items should have usefulness, even if it means having simmilar features as the "Costume" belts
had in Final Fantasy XI, like wearing & using the costume belts turned you into a monster/animal.
And the easter egg earrings for this year would be perfect for turning you into a spriggan with a cooldown ofcourse.
If they could do it in FFXI, they can do it here in FFXIV aswell.
So please SquareEnix, bring back the "Costume Belt" feature for future event rewards.
Make these event items useful again.
- i just dont understand how the staff can completly ignore such great features we use to love.
On another thought i really wish they would let us have the outfits the npcs wear

I did the event just to get the first earing reward, they match my current gear so yay!
I own a home but not going to bother with the lamp, or gather much more furniture until they lift the current limit, its annoying to have to always remove furniture to add new things. Time to eliminate the item limit se!
Overall its very fast with a couple "OK" rewards. I find most games I play, events are "meh" at best and pretty much a repeat of the exact event from the previous year. WoW is terrible for that, as well as ffxi and rift. Out of them all, I would say Rift does it the best for the most part....sort of...lol
Those earrings are just ugly, SE you are really not inspired concerning your seasonal events.....
And for the white knights they defend SE again and again "it's normal they are working on 3.0" next year it will be something else? Come on.
And yet... if SE made the seasonal events really long and involved people would invariably whine about them not spending that time developing "real" content instead. I also see that having a differing opinion that isn't criticism of all things SE is still immediate grounds for being a "white knight".
Where do you get transformed into a spriggen for the fates and in citys after you've completed the event and got the earrings? Been searching every where but can't find an NPC out in the wild.
thank you for the reply
I'm sad that Easter event is the last event we'll have until late August :(
I haven't even bothered with the event, I have no interest in egg-themed items... They are just ugly in my opinion, but I know some people like them so I'll just wait for the next event and hope it has stuff I like!
Do it to resell the lamps lol
