Fur and hair are essentially the same thing though since they are both a form of protein that grows from any place on a mammal's body. In fact, the only reason the word "hair" exists is because man felt that he himself was of a species not related to any other animal, when in reality he was a part of Animalia all along. Technically humans are covered in fur.

I was a proud duskwight elezen but ended up going miqote. I Just can't handle the disproportionate head and shoulders :( head too small, shoulders too wide. I miss my elezen but I got bored of sticking to the same hairstyle & outfits just to minimize the small head/wide shoulders issue.

I personally love all the races and I have spent ages in the character customisation. I started as miqo'te and then fantasia'd to elezen and highlander, now back to miqo'te for 3.0. I was planning to be male Au Ra but now that I have fantasia'd back to miqo'te I'm not too sure about being Au Ra any more.

If I become a lizard then I am no longer fluffy!

Lala's are the Master Race and Miqo'te are their cats that lay on their arm rests! I mean come on you all seen villains, they have to have a cat! Even Doctor Evil knew this! :P

I have been Miqo'te, Roe, Elezen and now Lalafell!

Lalafell have the best emotes, for sure. I am sometimes tempted to go Elezen again (my other favourite race), but the emotes are terrible, coudn't find a voice I liked, and like another poster said - you are very limited in what hairstyles you can use! Otherwise you look like a pinhead... being tall was nice though, and gear looks amazing.

Unfortunately for Lalafell, trousers and boots can barely be seen.

Still the cutest though!

I find my favourite voices have been my picks for female highlander and female miqo'te :D. Elezen, I agree is super hard to find a fitting voice :(.

Miqo'te females are the only ones that don't have funky faces (Er...even though 80% of female miqo'te have funky faces too...). Hyur all look the same, Highlanders are almost pretty, Roegaedyn have almost gorgeous faces, lalas are 100% cutesy, and elezen are...well...the awful "elegant" (see: huge, lanky, and highly unattractive) stereotype they are in most MMOs.

I'm definitely going Au Ra when they come out though.

Far too masculine, terrible skin color, just no.

Female and male elzen can indeed look quite nice, it is a shame not to see too many of them.

Lalas are "cute" and I have one of those but don't have the urge to play her often.

Male and female hyur, both have potential to look good with the right character creation choices.

As for males playing females ...that's abundant in any game, nothing new.

I wish Elezen heads weren't so awkwardly small. I probably would have rolled one if they were just a bit larger.

Maybe the ones that are the perverts are the ones who see the characters that way in the first place. Its about preference....why judge a person just because they play a character that doesn't suit you. You have absolutely no right in any way shape or form to even remotely call that person a pervert. How do you even know that is their intent. Its an assumption on your part. I am a guy I play a female Rogyden as you can plainly see buy my picture. I choose that female character because they are damn hard to make pretty. Secondly I quoted you and look I am not not trying to belittle you, but in all fairness you pretty much did just pin point every guy as pervs for merely playing a female character. Look we are guys...we like women (most of us) I appreciate the female body, and what it has to offer even in a game. That's funny. The Victoria's secret catalog we get every week just isn't enough, the countless websites one can vist and see way more revealing pics of real women just aren't enough I need my video game women naked or near as close as possible, then I'm satisfied. I always play the game naked too.

I play a Elezen because I think Elezen females look classy. Males look like bad spanish league basketball players.
Rogedyn both look dumb.

Both male and Female Miqo'te look juvinile. If you're a male who plays a Miqo'te Female, you got some issues. They look 12 (regardless of breast size). Their ears are in the wrong place. They have tails (seriously its like a turd wagging out thier rear). If your a guy who's into dog-eared, turd-wagging 12 year olds... well GL HF.

The female Miqo'te body proportions are closer to mine than femRoe or Hyur females. I'm not petite but I'm only like 5'4" so it's kind of weird to be such a tall character. I know it's fantasy but I want my main character to reflect me a little bit.

I'll admit I have made some pretty idiotic comments, and most likely will again, but atleast a new contender has entered the ring.
