My request: Black hairstyles for women, please. As in, stuff that works naturally with ethnically African hair.

Currently we've got the one with long dreadlocks (which isn't really what I have in mind, honestly), and another that's only available to Midlander Hyur that includes cornrows and a pompadour (which is seriously rad by WHY is it exclusive to them only?)

More cornrow styles. Afros. Mohawk varieties. Crazy, creative stuff with braiding, including microbraids.

The game's artists could go absolutely nuts with this, and I have a strong feeling it'd be very, very well-received by many players. If nothing else, I guarantee there's people out there that want to rock afros.

As for me, if I absolutely could have my way, my miqo'te here would be sporting this:

Short, messy hair. The new one released is somewhat close, but not really.

What I really wish we had, however, is that hair was split into two or more parts that you can combine freely, something like this:

While everyone is talking about what hairstyles they want to have in the game, I just want a bald option.
Seriously, why haven't we had a bald option already.

I'd like to chalk up a vote for simple ponytails and single-braided hair (e.g. Lara Croft). They don't have to be enormously long, just want a nice, practical look that says, "I like to wear my hair long, but don't want it to get in the way while I'm working."

I think Nalia would look pretty rad with an afro.

I was excited for the new styles that were just added. However, I find them extremely disappointing. The short pixie cut looks like a misplaced wig (at least on female miqote). The new pigtail style, (again, at least on miquote and hyur) the pigtails look so stiff and unnatural, it looks like they have used super glue to keep the pigtails in place.

Actually Northern lad, that's a minor issue that came in with a change of settings default with the update. You need to turn on the movement effects. I know, I have the same style, and it wss mentioned in another thread.

Wholeheartedly agree. As cool as long hair can look, the clipping is irritating, and so it's in the best interest of the artists to push to the absolute limit what they can do with hair that doesn't go past the neck. High ponytails, french braids, and buns would be fantastic, but a comparatively easy and versatile solution is to allow female characters to use more hairstyles that are currently male-only.

I gotta give this thing a bump. Too much good feedback to led it slip away.

Or at least more rough looking hairstyles. I notice that almost all the female midlander hairstyles are silky smooth and perfectly combed.

I'd like to see some longer, fuller ponytail options. Maybe something that sits high on the head and stops around the middle of the back with some loose curls. Think Fran from FFXII, but not quite as exaggerated.

A straight long and parted miqote hairstyle that doesn't include bangs, hairbands or ribbons. Loose curls and wavy hairstyles would be nice additions also.

Can we please have more cute fuzzy short hairstyles like the one I have now?
Since the introduction of asthetican they haven't given us anything of the sort.

I tried the settings option mentioned earlier in this thread about the new pigtail style, and my settings were already set to full movement so it did nothing to help the new pigtail style. It still looks pretty ridiculous how the pigtails are rock-rigid and stick out unnaturally in the back.

I also wish that they would make it so that ANY of the hairstyles that include a headband, hair clip, etc. that they make it so that the headband is dyeable.

There is one miquote style I love that comes in 4 different headband colors, but none of the colors match any of the gear in game. Why do there need to be 4 hairstyles wasted on a different colored headband, when it should be so simple as being one style with the choice to pick your own color.

A few suggestions to add:

- Dreadlocks, in multiple styles. Some that hang down, some that are pulled-back.

More variations of existing hairstyles.

They can easily add more hairstyles by simply modifying whats on the back versus whats on the front.

Like use a particular set of bangs as a base then swap out combinations of whats going on on the back.

Keep the long bangs, change the back, you can completely cut off the long hair and get this as a persistent hairstyle without the hat.

but dont stop there, you can keep the bangs, and the long hair, but instead of twin tails, braid them into a single tail and wrap the braided tail up into a bun.

You can do multiple great combinations with already existing hairtyles. All new hairstyle designs should take this into consideration. More variety for less.

I'd kill for some elegant hairstyles for the female elezen. Their hair either comes in short or little girl cute pigtails that looks silly on them. Being an older woman? Like, pfft, no way! Only one of their hairstyles is elegant and that's just not enough.

I'd love something wavy and longer for female elezens but also hyur females too. Something like this.

Another hairstyle for the ladies would be a wavy bob. We do have two notable bobs (one very severe and high fashion) but both of them are stick straight. Some wave would put in some personality to them! Something like this!

Heck if you wanted to avoid clipping with long hair simple solution is use a ponytail jewellery that forces the hair back further.

Well... I was hoping for a unisex long ponytail. This kind of sucks for me but well at least it's nice for those that play female characters. Still hoping for more long hair options for male characters as well.

That Roe style looks awesome, that's what I was hoping the new unisex style was going to look like. Instead, it looks like a bad wig.
