Pleth-o-ra of Au Ra

Ninja miq'ote turning mechanist Au Ra coming your way. I'm so hyped for the new expac that I'm driving my husband insane talking about it.

I purchased a Fantasia for my Behemoth Hyur, but I'm saving it for when the Au Ra are available. I'm still not sure if I will be making her an Au Ra or a Miqo'te, but I'll know once I get a chance to play around with their customization. I would have had one still, but the client crashed on me while I was fiddling around with the Fantasia I got for the Veteran reward (I had no intention of confirming once I was finished) and acted as if I had confirmed my progress thus far. See, I didn't plan on playing the Hyur, I was going to delete the Highlander if I felt I was going to play on Behemoth with any significant amount of time. But when Behemoth became locked from character creation in nigh perpetuity, I just said "#$@! it" and kept her as Hyur until I could afford to get another Fantasia (and a name change).

I love my Castanic! If Au Ra feels like a Castanic at all, it will tempt me away from my Miqo'te! Though, Hyur constantly temps me to, and I haven't yet...so who knows! But Castanics are <3!

I ended up doing a version of the char I said I was looking for, using GIMP. I'm no graphic designer, but I'm hoping SE allows for this colour scheme. I'll post it shortlyish.

female au ra's don't look too bad. seen a few in the videos that actually look cute. males on the other hand look bad lol. like male elezen bad.

if somebody took a ram and mixed it with a human as a science experiment it would be the male au ra's lol.

Still have my free Fantasia laying around, but I'll stay Hyur. A basic midlander Hyur that resembles human.

Basic is Mastery.

Male Au Ra look like they've got that "punk dude in a shonen manga" thing going on way too hard.

Female Au Ra are the pretty princessest princesses who ever prettied.

Miqote premiered at the same time as Hyur. There are Still more Hyur than Miqote. And why should something being popular be "annoying" it shows that they did a good job developing the new race if most people want to use it.

I'm going to be changing my scholar femRoe alt to Au Ra. I think she will be adorable with fairy following her around. I'm not bothered by the possibility that there will be lots of Au Ru. If it feels right for the character, why should what other people have selected for their race make a difference?

I feel like there was a real missed opportunity for the title of this thread…

Totally curious to see the customization that Au Ra will bring. Thinking of changing my fem hyur alt to a fem Au Ra. As for my main male hyur, I grew too attached to him and I'd feel like i'm in a cheesy romantic drama where I'd leave my current char for another cooler one and realize I made a terrible mistake and run back to my current, tears rolling down my face and repeating "I'm so sorry! I'll never leave you, ever... abloobloobloobloo"

However, if in the far far future, SE release a more angelic, feathery race, I'd drop my current look in a flash, using my free fantasia.

You know, I think that might be doable. To my own dismay, I suspect they will be giving us the colour palette of Elezen. After using a retainer fantasia I was able o colour match the example Au Ra that have been shown, but you can't get a red-skinned one like I have expressed that I desired for myself. I DID use GIMP to come up with an imagine of my potential future look . . . I guess I forgot to upload it anywhere or link it into here. I need to get on that.

Im thinking im gonna make another character and level it to 50 and when expansion comes I will fantasia it to Au Ra and it will only use the Gunner job.
Because I love my main character too much
And my tank character is so cute too

So my lalafell will play dark knight
My miqote Caster/Healer
And My new character will be gunner!

It's just...I hate the main quest so much it's the most boring thing ever so going through that for the 3rd time is kinda holding me back

Still trying to figure out the best way to con somebody into sketching a Au Ra version of Misen :D

Considering I'm Elezen, I've made a pact with Midgardsomyr(or however that's spelled), my god Rhalgar fits perfectly with the theme of dragons, I'm a Monk and therefore know Dragon Kick as well as elemental Fists, Theres no Reason for me not to fantasia as part of my natural evolution, which by the way, Im running out of longer hairstyles and once I go white locks of godly destruction, a big change like being so pimp at being a monk that my race changes cant come soon enough, plus my eyes need to be more red to match my evolving face tattoos. However I cant decide whether to start over with newborn green and yellow like how my character use to be or whether I should keep up the evolution and stay black, red, white. decisions decisions. All I know is we are going Pokemon all up in this place!

Being a catgirl is boring now.

I know for a fact I'm contributing to this lololol. But as I've said elsewhere, i'm saving my character data, and then I can change back to Roe if I don't like it.

As much as I'd like to character wise I'm sure I won't. I'm too cool to change to a race everyone else will be changing to.

I'll keep my main as is, I have an alt account so maybe one of those will get the horn/ scale treatment. It will be nice to see a bit of reigning in of the cat population though.

I'll be using the benchmark to play around with Au Ra character creation. That will be when I determine if my Hyur becomes Au Ra or Miqo'te.

I plan on making a new character but my main will stay Lala
