Gear you want, but will (probably) never obtain

First and Second Coil weapons. I can do Turn 5 just fine, but I sure as hell would not want to farm it (not unless 3.0 nerfs it completely... if people are even still running it by then). And 9... still terrifies me.

But really I think the only reason I can't obtain anything right now is because I have no where to actually put it.

Archne armour set. Its too expensive on my server and I am leveling my DoW and DoM classes right now and with my pace, by the time I get all my battle classes to level 50, Heavensward will already be released.

I have apocalypse also, but the thing that I probably never obtain is having full crit/det build because of those tier 4 materias are way too expensive..

I will probably never have the Augmented AF armor sets. I would love to have them, but since they don't fit in the Armoire at this time, I'll not make 45 more inventory slots available for the privilege of dying this gear. Maybe someday, SE will oblige me

T7-9 and Final coil gear I will never see. I'm a hardcore player, but I've no static. No static, no progression.... yeah.
I'll also never get those Arachne pants and Kirimu or however you spell it sandals for my monk. They are super expensive and I don't really have a source of gil income

Anything gated behind thornmarch extreme because I can never find people to do that fight with.

High Allagan Healing Chest because since I can barely heal a Shiva EX run, I doubt I'll make it to the end of a T7 run, multiple times, in order to get that chest. One day I'll attempt it but for now it's out of reach. Also the caster chest because RNG hates me and it will never drop. Plus Shiva EX bow/SCH book because RNG. I've cleared it (on DPS) about 30+ times and I haven't seen any of them drop. Same for the pony.

...sigh.

Allied seal caster set from Flames. I'll never get it because I'm rank 34 with maelstrom and I'd lose a lot of glamour sets if I change gc. Screw you SE for resetting pvp ranks.

My high allagan set for DRG. 50+ clears between t6 and t7 and still haven't seen boots or arms drop. Always caster or healer.

High Allagan tanking body - Party Finder dramas and extortionate merc prices will probably keep this one out of my reach, sadly, as much as I want the glamour!

The Dalamud Horn item from 1.0.

Probably dark light gear, namely chest pieces, due to outdated dungeons and RNG competing with other non dark light gear sets/filtered water

I want lots of stuff from Ramuh EX (my favorite weapon designs) but too many people refuse to run it more than once.

Oh and fockin ramuh ring. Failed the roll 5+ times, even to a guy we carried in exchange for his soldiery xD

Heavy High Allagan Coat, just the most beautiful tank body on the game

The Kirimu coat. My bard is only level 30 right now, so there's no point in spending the millions of gil on something I can't even wear. And I don't know when I will finish leveling it. And I definitely don't have the crafting chops to make one myself.

The healer and caster PVP sets, but I just don't enjoy PVP at all enough to go after them. I did one Frontlines battle and that was it. -_-

Want to aim higher now since I got my HA Healer Robe. xD
I'd love the HA Tank chest piece. I wonder if I can even Farm T9. I know its really complicated and I know I gotta beat it first.
Welp I'll just use the gear as motivation to push myself towards it and try to beat Nael in the face.

Scylla's Robe of Casting, or the Dragoon Relic gear. Mostly because I don't have jobs that apply to either of those. I wish I could glamour them onto my tank, but alas…..

Any relic, really. The farthest I ever got to was Animus and after failing a FATE twice after waiting 2 hrs each was enough for me to give up on it entirely. Stupid Enmity of My Enemy. You can't do it without a healer :(
