Wow 5 pages in a day, this is picking up good.

Ok so top 4 Female Models

Eirwen Mackenzie - This was a wonderful shot, you managed to sneak yourself into with ease, story time for the gate guards, loved it.

Kaiyoko Star - This was a good shot, I enjoyed the angle work and the characters involved, well done.

Sakuraya Kai - What I loved about this shot was your shadow being casted on the ground, (I have a similar shot I took at the DMZ in S.korea with a South Soldier staring at his) Also the gridanian axe kicked it up a notch too.

Xev Bellwyn - This was a wonderfully placed shot, I enjoyed everything from the background to your character in this frame, well executed.


Male top 4 Models

Flare Raulbel - Great use of taking advantage of the Halloween event to get a shot like this, too funny honestly.

Marik Destiel - This was a very interesting shot, im taking a wager and guessing she lost her contact lense...I enjoyed the subtle colorization in this photo

Rho Biggs - At first I was like HEY that's AN AXE!! WHAT YOU DO THERE...than I was like, no, this actually worked pretty well tbh, im not sure exactly what the story is, but there is one

Sera Alaric - Wont lie, I had to look at the models themselves to figure out which one was the model in this photo, which means, you blended in perfectly dear sir, well done.

Rahya Relenah: This shot is spectacular! How did you get that pose? I also love the way the uniforms and your costume coordinate with the sky and the rest of the lighting in the piece.

NOW, for the Men.. ALL of you have AMAZING shots here. It's going to be hard to narrow it down to 4.. I'm glad I didn't participate this Cycle! lol:

Epsil Ion: I love everything about this shot. The lighting is great, the pose is great. The thing that makes me laugh though are the two Rogues in the background who look like they're tripping, lol.
Fate Los: Another shot where everything about it is excellent. You really captured the heart of Gridania with this picture.
Flare Raulbel: AHAHAHAHA! You have Nanamo giving you a kiss and Raubahn looking incredibly displeased. I also can't tell if you're surprised or anxious. Excellent shot
L'yhan Nuhn: I love the colors, the angle, and the way you caught the moon in the shot. Very good!

I want to add... a picture can be stellar, but if I can't see it cause it was taken in the dark, I'm not going to vote for it. ; ; Please keep this in mind when taking your screenshots. Use daylight hours or at least a sun minion or two. Just my personal opinion. :3


Women (no particular order)

Xev Bellwyn - It's a simple picture, but it looks like you're a Gridanian flower amongst flowers and will fight to protect them.
Rhaya Relenah - Good expression and pose! You look like a leader of a Flames skirmish team. This picture did, however, cut real close to "too dark" for me.
Iris Dawnshade - I love the action in this picture. I'm looking forward to more from you!
Kaiyoko Star - The fact that the Maelstrom outfits' reds don't match hurts my soul! ; ; But this isn't your fault! XD It's a strong picture that perfectly matches the theme. ^^

L'yhan Nunh - This picture just screams Ul'dahn Immortal Flames. Love it and the angle.


For me, while sticking to the theme is important, I will tend to vote for stellar screenshots over strict following of the theme. Awesome picture PLUS good adherence to theme? Definite vote from me.


eta: I want to add... I've seen a few folks mention that just wearing the colors wasn't enough. I wanted to point out that the instructions specifically stated: "Th'theme of th'round is Grand Companies. Be it Maelstrom, Adders or Flames, I want y'to pick one of 'em an' give me a shot makes you look like you're a part o' the company. Colour theme an' settin' is important! I ain't expectin' everyone t'wear those odd lookin' flowerpot hats, but if you're fightin' for th'Maelstrom I want t'see some red!" So, yeah, just wearing the colors is technically enough. ^^

Just wanted to chime in:

I think Sienna Moonlux's shot is very impressive. I can understand the idea that it doesn't blend well quite so naturally, that it looks "photoshoppy." However I don't think that every screenshot has to "blend," sometimes popping out creates an interesting effect.

Thank you! so much for this ^.^; I was afraid I didn't have enough light from the Sun minion in the pic, but I'm glad someone picked it up. I would bring it closer, but it made me look like I was radioactive glowing in that dark background, so I didn't want it that bright lol. I was hoping the more subtle light would translate enough on my character.

Just throwing my 2 cents in. The models I chose best represented the theme of the week in my eyes, which was Grand Company. You all have alot of great shots, but at the same time you could of put forth more effort to be creative with your corresponding GCs.
