There was some during 1.x, like multishot
The skill equiped your bow with an extra arrow until 3 arrows and then you could shot them at the same time.

You reminded me of something that FFXI did right. The environments (The mines in that video for example) are out of proportion. Things are usually larger than they should be.
This is something WOW did well as well.
It makes the world feel larger and bigger; even though realistically speaking, it's quite small.
The world in FFXIV tries to stay on proportion with the character and this causes you to feel a bit claustrophobic in some areas or it generally makes the world feel small.
