Why do Twin Adders hunt gears look so horrible?

It kinda fits with their theme. Especially leather and botany working together to make....that.

I personally like the healers circlet and pants. With tattoos I'll look like some kind of tribal priest.

There's comments for and against Twin Adder Elite... but I ask you, have you seen Flame Elite? HAVE YOU! The caster set is just a coliseum shawl with boob flaps! Now, yes, the tank armor is very much Raubahn cosplay fodder, but the rest of it... find some clothes!

I love the Adder gear!

Certain pieces of the Adder set look neat but overall i find it to look very generic when compared to the more unique design of the Maelstrom or Flames set.

They could have expanded a bit on the leather details or furs and such.

But that's the thing about the Twin Adders, there is leather, but it's balanced with pieces of fabric and wood. The tank armor has wood pauldrons! The Twin Adders live at one with nature, not against it like the Maelstrom or abuse it like the Flames.

Is there a place to see each set of armors and weapons of each GC on a male alt? The ones showed earlier were female armors... and the Flames' weapons were missing.

I like the adders heavy chest piece, but not enough to change GCs. Despite being of the Immortal Flames since GCs were implemented, I still say it's gear is utterly horrendous for the most part. The caster set looks good on female characters, though...

Yellow is the Twin Adders color since 2011

yellow is not a popular favorite color from the beginning. you ask 100 people about their favorite color and they'll say blue, red, black, etc. probably 5 people out of 100 will say they like yellow the most.

To me Mael looks best, and flames worst.

My main character is from adders, and the style does fit them. I am not a great fan of it myself but still better then flame. And adders have cool looking weapons, much better then Mael to be honest.

I also wouldn't change gc because I only like to pvp with my friends.

My alt is from Mael, I really want that Mael outfit one day with him.

My tanks and dps would be running around in Twin Adder gear if I wouldn't have used most of seals on buying Sands of time and ventures. But now I actually have started to save them up for GC gear.

I understand. I'm really sorry your GC doesn't give you gear "equally" good compared to the others, according to your tastes. No sarcasm intended. The thing is, people find it appealing, you can even read their opinion here. I don't think the dev. team will change it, because their suits, as many pointed out, represent the land and their culture. The designs are based on that, you can even tell it by looking at them. So, if they make it equal, there's not going to be variety and we should be glad we have it. I do agree that it would be nice to use them too, despite which GC you are. But well, it was your choice from the very begining and you still have the choice to change.

Again, we're not commanding you do it, you're free to do whatever you want. Just reminding you that probably the dev. team won't do much about this.

The only solution would be to allow them to be dyed, but that messes with them being GC gear by bearing the colours of their GC.
It's a shame you don't like the gear, buuuut I guess that is why they allow us to change GC too.

But I had no idea the other ones had such nice looking gear.
And I will lose my pvp rank if I change and it's been such a pain to get there (120min queuetime for frontlines, so 2 games a day means im lucky)

Oooh if I knew about this when I picked twin adder I would never have picked it...

Now I'm sad, had no idea there were such nice glamours in this game and I'll never have them :(

I happen to like the Adder gear, bought the robe today myself. Malestorm is nice too, but I personally don't like Flame gear. To each their own though.

Serpents mage gear + Talisman = amazing.

Yeah, subjective taste is subjective.

You can't demand SE make gear to your own personal tastes every patch.

Personally, I don't like the 50 shades of trenchcoat that Maelstrom get and I like the gear from the other two GC's. Sucks that I'm in Maelstrom...

Might consider changing later.

Serpent caster gear looks really good. It's more brown than yellow and definitely evokes healer unlike Too Cool For School coats in Maelstrom or... I'm sorry, I don't know what was going on in Flames when they designed their caster gear.

That aside, I'm surprised that quite a few still like the adders gear here. I might just have to scout the Hunting Scholars to get a good look at the full sets again...

I disagree- I actually prefer the Adders "Hunter/Gatherer"esque clothing for the hunts.
It's even gotten me interested in the hunts themselves (Because I could have gave a qu'rins tail about it before I saw the archer gear). :P

It depends on the shade of yellow. If you give me a bright neon yellow then no I don't... but the Adders yellow is a softer yellow and I actually like it. In all honesty I hate red... I think it's to harsh and a violent color. Black tends to be highly over used but nice, blue is nice as well. My favorite color happens to be green~!

But I love colors based on nature/forest the most, so the browns, yellows, greens etc of Gridania suit my color pallet just fine. :)

I personally don't like the new adder gear ( at least for the full sets) but a lot of those pieces are great with other pieces of gear, it's a shame the gear is tied with your GC because I'd probably be able to come up with something mixing them up.

Does anyone have screenshots of what the Immortal Flames mage gear looks like on female Lalafells?

I like the serpent weapons a lot actually. Every time I see one I'm like "dayum I want that!" Overall I only really like the DoW serpent outfit. Can't get into the mage or tank ones.

I kinda really want the maelstrom outfits though ;_;

I honestly like the Twin Adders gear.

I'm very much in love with the Twin Adder Robe and Gloves i've glamoured on my White Mage! The Cleric's Boots work very well with them.

I love all three of the adder sets, I just wish they were not so expensive.
