You can see things are doing well because everyone is getting color back into their face ( :D ), I was impressed they were able to change so much so shortly - you could tell they were pushing their bodies by will and caffeine alone lol.

Though I've had a great deal of lag since 2.3, maybe that could be looked into? >.>

You have taken this game from its rocky origins of 1.0 and made it the game it should have been. While I didn't play in 1.0, I was in the beta test for it, but there might as well have not been any beta-testers for 1.0 for all of the good it did.

Because of my negative experience I had almost deleted my invitation into 2.0's beta, and a good thing that I hadn't! I have been impressed with how far this game has come since I joined during Phase 2.

So, again, my thanks goes to Yoshida-san and the development staff for FFXIV. Thank you for making this game come to the potential it deserved, for making this game a success when your predecessor could not, for dealing with the demands of the players.

My friend and I were growing tired of playing WoW after the last patch that had been released ( which is still the current content now ) and decided we'd like to try something new. I went searching for an MMO for the two of us to play together and came across Final Fantasy XIV. We both weren't sure at first, but the benchmark won us over and we got the game as quickly as we were able ( which wasn't right away since the game was sold out for a while both digitally and physically! )

Initially this game was meant to be a filler for us until Wildstar launched and then we'd switch over to play that. But that idea didn't last long, because we became hooked on this game, for better or for worse, and have been with it since September. Thank you for a wonderful year, FFXIV team, and I hope to continue playing this game for a long time to come!

Thank you to everyone on the FFXIV team, this has been my first MMO and it's been great fun! I'm looking forward to another year!

Thank all of you who has been involved in making this game what it is :D I have truly enjoyed playing this game all year with no breaks, as well as constantly since Patch 1.15 back in 1.0 ^^

This year has gone by soooo fast. And that is how I rate if a game is fun or not. If when I sit down and play, and I simply loose track of time. In Borderlands 2 etc I can end up sitting 8 hours straight before looking at the clock again. And I feel like the game launched maybe 5 months max ago.
Time sure flies when you are having fun.

So thanks again everyone. Hope to see many more years come and go as we all venture across Eorzea, guarding it against no matter what enemies dare to threaten it ^^

I have had my ups and downs with the game for sure, but, above all else I appreciate the attention to detail. The drifting sand in the Sagoli, the sky changes at sunrise and sunset, animals actually blink and breathe, the actions of water, the list goes on. This more than anything has made the game very alive for me.

Congrats to the team for a year completed and here's to many more.

It amazes me how it's already been one year since the game was released. And to think that if I didn't participate in the Beta last year I most likely would not have played this game, maybe even care about the game. But I tried it, loved it and bought it. For a whole year I've been playing this game, and even if I sometimes have taken some breaks I always come back to the world of Eorzia. Loving every second of it.

I want to thank and commend the whole team for all the efforts you have put in this game, and I look forward to see this game to grow many years to come.

Thank you and Happy Birthday FFXIV:ARR, I still can't forgive SEnix for killing off Aerith in FFVII but this game has given me a new hope towards MMOs. I was reluctant about renewing my sub after two months (because I couldn't make time to play, not that I hated the game), but then I joined a new FC and it felt like 2004 again when I hardly get sleep because MMOs are so fun! (chocobo raising & dyeing got me sold tbh, but Eorzea is exactly the candy-colored world I'd like to spend hours taking screenshots of :3)
