Over 150 Boarskin maps and still no Tonberry minion.

I'll complain about atma.
1. my friends who need atma take me with them cose if I'm with them the atma drops for them in like few fates
2. I go for my atma hunting need a week for each atma (still 3 away from completing - its over 2 weeks in east shroud and still no goat - yes zenith equiped and inventory not full)
3. i atma with a friend, he gets his atma, and he say ok I'll keep atmaing with you - he drops the second atma - one he already dropped few fates before

ST? Oh its laughable, I win only if nobody rolls at it, I got the allagan my first run, because people didn't know what the hell was that and I just grabbed it so i could get a better weapon XD

Fishing.

Just... fishing.

Farming Atma (always checked for equipping the correct weapon etc.) for 2 hours/day and 4 hours/day on weekends. Followed every known technique for efficient farming. Took three weeks.

Never seen any of the BiS caster pieces I want from T6 and 7

Over 500 A rank hunts and 50 S ranks and not a single log.

Let me complain again with atma:

I tried a little before going to work, i get contacted for party inv, and i told the person I'll be just for 10 minutes on if they are still interested. They are. 5 minutes later - they get the atma, while I don't (it's 3 days I'm farming for Lion atma), I'm so unlucky, and maybe it's true i bring others luck but not me XD

After 5 months, MNK helm decided to drop yesterday, only missing weapon and bracelet, let's see if weapon drops tonight or if my luck is gone forever.

Dude me too! We have 10 High Allagan Bracelets of Fending, though. Well, had. Tossed 2 away.. No healing earrings, no slaying earrings. T6 is crapton of bullshit.

Trying to complete the Brayflox gear sets. It can be nearly impossible sometimes

When CT first came out no lies it had taken me around 80 runs just to get the Crimson hat, chest was around half those runs.
Ifrit's bow, same thing close to 80 or more runs (i ended up getting months after my Relic)
Atma had taken me approx 4 months to get all of them, while people who have started a month or so after me had gotten 2 atma weapons by then. And yes i have done way more fates, i got that 3,000 fate achievement a while back, lol
Drops in dungeons rarely do i win rolls which brings me to ST, more often then not i must go in there with people from fc that have all had their loot already or they all pass, because yeah i don't ever win. So yeah, hooray for me

Goodness I have a few of those unlucky stories.

Moogle Ex, Healing Ribbon drops finally. I roll a 2. Scholar who spent most of his time "Cleric Stance" healing or dead.. won it.
Did 49 Runs of Baby Brayflox for the Infantry Skirt.. to only have a 2nd skirt from the retainer 2 days later.

Still have not managed to win the tank boots from Stone Vigil HM to finish the set. Must be at about 50+ runs of that stupid place now.
Went slightly over 20 runs before I saw the crystal tower healer crown drop.

I'm nearing 100 maps done and only ever seen 1 'leather' bonus map so far.

Pvp is so dead in this game and it's the only thing I feel like doing while waiting for reset :(

yeah and queuetime is like 2 hours each game, and after jumping around for an hour I get a little impatient and search for a dungeon instead

I spent nearly a week farming for the Ifrit Scholar weapon, I did about 10 runs a day, and this was before I started working on my Relic quest. I saw it drop once, then another Scholar, who mostly just stood there and died a few times, rolled a 99 on it. After I started on my Relic quest, the book drops and I got it, for vanity purposes. I should also note that I greeded on every other weapon that dropped and either someone needed or I rolled like a 10 or lower.
My luck only seems to exist if I'm the only one who can roll need or no one else rolls on it, that's if it drops.

Oh it must be the data center you're on. I only wait 20-30 minutes usually at the most.

On my very last meld of my novus, (Det tier IV materia - 600k on my server at the time) I had two that I bought before the prices inflated and was pretty confident. It said 50%, so with two materia, I had it covered, right? WRONG!!! I failed the meld 9 times.

EDIT - Oh yeah, and this happened too... I must have blocked it out or something. Back in the day, I wanted the battlemage body badly, and ran braflox over and over again. I stopped counting at 40. It finally dropped, and I got 90ked before I could roll on it. Get back on, and I'm sitting in gridania. After letting loose a long string of profanity, I Queued up again and got an in progress run that was at the last boss, where, as the healer, I was the only one in the party who could roll need on mage gear. Nice! It dropped again. Even nicer! Two runs in a row after so many times of never seeing it. I was elated. Just as I'm about to click Need... the power went out.

Join a PF party for unicorn farm and after a few runs nightmare horn pop. God of RNG pop me 1... ;_;
