If doing serious business content or content that's been out awhile I feel a obligation. But I do like going into new dungeons blind on a patch day.

You know they do make Guides for all manner of games. I don't know how well that business fares these days, what with the readily available internet guides. But when I was growing up it was perfectly normal to buy guides to video games. Brady Games got a little of my money (or maybe it was my parent's money) back in the day.

Sometimes a game guides were actually a pretty fun read. I have an awesome guide for Lunar:SSSC for PS1. Thing even came with stickers to put on your memory cards.
