Fan Fest - London 2014 Thread

I'd like to know if Square-Enix will open the volunteer system for London too.

Event without a PS4 I think they will equip the PCs with controllers like they did at GamesCom: Square Enix booth got a mix of PCs / consoles; PvP & Battle-Arena was PC only but all PCs were connected with a gamepad.

Three of us from Sargatanas are heading to London FanFest! One of our static members is flying in from Germany too :D

Very excited for this, can't wait to be there and meet all you awesome people.

There will be no Retainer system for London.

Visca Barre, Rylumin Yamata, Darkness Requiem, Fizgig Mewrilah, Marden Kaathe, Ashur Breakblade and Jiet Lei from Odin (and free company Onmyodo <ONM>) are coming to attend the fan fest. :o

I've got a University Open day in Brighton at 11:00 am, it'll probably last 2-3 hours and then take me 2 hours to get to the Fan Fest. So I'll probably get there around 3-4pm. Is it worth going? Do you think I'll miss out on much?

I'm making the top half of a Lalafell cosplay (the starting outfit). I'm short and fat, so seemed apt xD And only the top half because I don't want to get cold as we're heading home on the train straight afterwards.

Coming along from Ragnarok, and I have alts on Moogle, Lich, Gilgamesh and Sargatanas too. With the travel time I was thinking about coming up on Friday to stay over and rolling around the Comic Con for just that day, too.

Hailing from Odin server, I'll be coming along with 3 FC/IRL friends and 3 of us will be cosplaying. :3 I'm used to big events like Expo and conventions and I always put my all in to cosplay, but this'll be my first fan festival in this sort of vein so I'm a little nervous about what to expect! And...stupid question, but....I play on a lowly PS3. Will I still be able to play live at the event?

Yeah, they'll have all of the platforms set up and available for the events :)

I'll be heading to the VIP night with one other from my FC. We're from the Hyperion server. =D

Day after we have a good 10+ in my FC attending the event. Looking forward to meeting many folks and hopefully snagging a few alcoholic beverages (if not at the event; then befores and afters! ;D).

I'll be attending FanFest London by myself, as none of my other FC mates are going since Adamantoise is primarily a NA server. Would appreciate having a friend for the day though :p
