Lately I just see posts about you referring to Mr. Happy. We get it, you don't like his guides.
I've been saying this since "Syrcus" Tower was announced. My response was "Yeah, it sure will be a Circus Tower..."

"I DO WHAT I WANT!" "DON'T TELL ME HOW TO PLAY!" With duty finder, the more people you queue with, the higher the chance you deal with this mentality.
The only mechanic I'm a little unsure of is her petrification. Is it the same as Second Coils where you turn away from her? Not that it's a long petrify (it also could've been that one group was out of position for that phase too).
this isn't really a good excuse i got in ST as soon as 2.3 went live everyone in the group was going at it blind we just all sat down after wipes to talk about what we learned then retried until we beat the whole thing
probably the best DF group i ever had lot of friendly peeps ^.^
The three lightning pillars must be charged (each with three lightning bolts) during the first phase of the fight, when the boss begins casting Daybreak three platforms will light up (again ONLY if the three pillars are charged) platforms work the same way as the final boss of CT1, they will create a barrier around the boss and daybreak will have no effect on players.
Several mechanics here were taken from CT.
Jeez this stuff just came out but everyone needs to be 100%? i can understand getting a bit upset after 3 or so weeks but it's only day 2
100%? No.
Willing to listen to the people that cleared it numerous times since yesterday? Yes.
If you get told how the battle goes 4+ times and you still don't listen, that means you never intended to listen in the first place. We all did this fresh, but by now strategies and how to deal with mechanics is already known :p
On the first day 6/8 of my team was FC members. We figured out the mechanics easily and people in our group rarely died when B and C were getting roflstomped even with people explaining mechanics. Granted there was no wipes but by the end it was obvious who was actually paying attention to detail and who wasn't. Amon was the biggest mess because people weren't draging the purple orbs to the Kum Kums to shrink them and cause the damage reduction/taken damage increase debuff to shrink them that often. Most of them were killed in full size.
I even remember being frozen many times and people still running with the fire orb on Boss 1. Not fun
Yeah I went in on the second day and people were upset that I didn't already know what to do and then I supposedly "can't listen to instructions" when they are typed out mid battle with AoE's and explosions being thrown at me and it's all in such poor grammar that it's nearly impossible to understand, followed by cusses and insults.
But hey then I am the bad player, right? /hiss. I am NOT going to do that one again till the loudmouths get the *beep* away from there.
Does all these happen on NA/EU servers?
For me on JP Tonberry it wasn't that terrible. My first ever CT2 run was with the JP players and we figured out most of the stuff together. Second run onwards I selected E only as my JP communication skills aren't that good yet to communicate on the new content, there was another experienced guy so the both of us guided the raid. Wiped a few times but still about under 1hr or so.
Third and Fourth (only ran 4 times so far) was also with full E group and I was the only experienced guy. Taught them the core mechanics before every boss fight and it was pretty smooth. In fact the 4th run, the first two bosses we 2-shot it and the last 2 bosses was a one shot. I was the only guy who knew what to do in the whole 24 man alliance on day 1.
Sad to say I just think it should be just the typical NA players issue. I was from a NA server so I have first hand experience on how LOL NA DF can be.
one shot with completely fresh players, but I'm probably overgeared for the content, plus with good healers they can pretty much carry the whole team.
but to be honest, this round of CT is alot easier.
Queued JP with a bunch of friends, at last boss, the JP members said that they would gladly party with us again even if we were gaijin.
First boss is a pain I agree but after people get it down it will not be a problem.
However the second boss, I do not like how they have it setup, sure the first part of the fight is fine, once you start jumping those platforms in the back.
Healers do not heal but that's not the issue at the start explaining now.
Boss engages whoever jumps right back on main platform instead of staying in center that is a problem to me, wouldn't be a issue if the healers could heal but they cannot and when he hits you its a lot of dmg.
Mechanics were also well paced to react.
Game play had a gd pace unlike CT1.
Players getting wiped, probably rely too much on video and guides. =p
Lol I got called a bossy tank when I was spamming get in water :-( and ppl still died.
My first experience in The Circus Tower (funny, after Troll Tower, we take it further to Circus) ^^
People must be colorblind...
I figured the Mechanic in about 5 seconds infight after someone explained the Orbs and their colors...
Second run went much smoother and while i didn“t get loot there, i had to go in 3rd time.
3rd run was good as well, expcept for a Bard, who not only wore Caster and Tank Accessoires to at least met the iLVL, then constantly dying by ignoring all mechanics and teammates (kiting around in field while the Boss summons daybreak - 8 ppl gathering the same place is somewhat no hint)...
after the fight he was lying on the floor waiting for a rez, while all were at the next area already, and he had enough time to stand up and follow (no one wanted this undergeared bard with double debuff)....
After this, someone snapped and voted dismiss, and no one missed him really :P
That makes me sad, the good times where you play a game discovering things and trying to figure yourself how overcome difficulty, will last just the few hours from servers online after patch, up to the time we have the mrhappy (or anyone else) of the situation who will tells everyone what they have to do, how do do, when to do.
Not that I am blind to hints, but asking people to watch videos on youtube before even attempt to do a fight, I think the problem is in mind of who asks that, not of people who goes to a match first time. But I know, most of you will rage about my words, you don't want wipe because noobs, you don't want lose time because have to tell noobs what to do, and you don't want lose, as the integral sense of the word lose. But you want all of that on a Duty Finder match. Ho, the irony.
Really people wipe there? I only did 1 syrcus tower so far (solo queue), all bosses one shot with minimal casualties, i thought its even easier than CT1
LMAO. Ok. Cool. Don't really see how me complaining that people are impatient and don't want to try and learn makes me elite. But I guess that's the inherent problem with modern mmo's. So if thats the label that I get, then fine. I'm elitist, and I don't want to play with dumb people.
