Which is a reasonable assumption.
One catalyst - One materia...

Being able to use all grades of materia unrestricted until you reach the cap would be great.
eg. I can use 3 x II materia instead of absolutely needing a tier IV with no penalties provided the correct amounts of Alexandrite are supplied.
IF that is the case (and let's hope it is)... people flocking to the market boards buying all the inflated IVs might actually just be burning the gil?
All into Lightning Resistance.
Come at me Bramuh!
As for how did I find it, you can adjust the URLs final number and see all the images in the patch notes.
And correct, which is why I believe there will probably some form of stat cap, as SarcasmMisser stated, based off i110 gears. Although it would be incredibly hilarious to run 75 determination on a Monk.
A monk being able to meld 75 det into a weapon would be overpowered as heck, det probably has lower caps than other secondary stats for this reason
If you meet the Accuracy requirements for Turn 9, then pure Det.
Edit: Didn't read it fully, if you have to have two stats, Max Det, fill in the rest with Crit. However, based off your current stat weights, it might be beneficial to go with Skill Speed instead. It's dependent on your final stats.
30% crit with the trait. And Demolish is actually the strongest skill Monks have, when adding their DoT to their base.
From what I can see, Novus secondary stats are capped.
If you aim for a det/crit combo, you can only do a max combined total of 66. If you mix it up, and go for a lesser weighted stat (such as SS) you can do 75 (crit+ss for example).
I think the 75 is representative of the stats you picked to build up. If they had picked det/crit, it would show 66, probably.
There will definitely be stat caps. Just a question of whether it will let you waste a scroll on a stat already maxed.
No, its blank. When you first decide the stats you wish to boost. It will then determine the cap. So if you decided the scroll will have the two stats, det/crit. It will show the max value of infused as 66.
Of course, I could be wrong, and you should take this as grain of salt.
how to obtain Alex tomes? its not yet clear is it?
What stats would you recommend for Bravura Novus
Not sure what to do with the Patch notes. They are vague at best. Right now, my BLM staff has INT, KON, DET and SS on it. INT and KON will be adjusted automatically so I assume I can't raise those stats with the sphere. But what are my options for the secondary stats? Can I only REPLACE them like for example using Crit chance instead of Skill Speed and Accuracy instead of Determination or can I raise one of the secondary values if I like them? Or keep them both and raise both of the secondary stats if I like them? And what about Alexandrite? Patch notes don't even mention it besides that it is listed as a new item. And why are people talking about inserting Materia? I did not read anything about Materia in the Zodiac part of the patch notes.
^ those stats <3
I dont know what the accuracy requirement for T6+ is though ...woops!
Im sure I can drop some anyway...xD
Literally at the top of the page.Quote:
Before obtaining a relic weapon novus, you must first infuse a sphere scroll with materia corresponding to the attributes you wish to upgrade. Once fully infused, present the scroll to Jalzahn and you will be rewarded with a relic weapon novus of item level 110.
Either wait, or learn the mathematics yourself. I'm still figuring it out here as well lol.
Still getting my Glaunzfaust, I don't know how long it will take me to finish Animus/Novus.
489 from the front. 451 for Black Mage. 471 for Summoner.
I just think it boils down to the two stats you've chosen to meld on.
It will not allow 75 for crit and det. In case of BRD, Rosenbogen has a combined total of 75, just like shown (crit/SS). Liberator has det/SS = 66.
See where its going? It wont happen, I will be shocked if you can crit/det = 75.
Is the weapon damage going to be changed too? Or just altered stats?
I think its funny that this is supposed to make everyones relic more unique but ...certain stats just tower over the others >.<
I for one cannot wait to see the new glows/designs!
Atma/Animus both were ilvl100. Novus is ilvl110. That is a genuine jump, WHICH will merit an improvement in weapon damage. Or it is not ilvl110. Shouldn't expect an increase in weapon damage, on the same thing. The only thing you were doing in the Animus phase, was enhancing stats.
You cant really count Zenith - Atma process. It was pretty much clearly just SE way of starting the process. Nothing really serious, just killed people with grinding fates, lol.
If Alexandrite is only from the new maps...it looks like I need to level a gathering class *cry*
Oooh thank god xD
