Longest Time for Receiving Atma

Lets see....I started my atma quest yesterday (saturday).
Central Shroud atma: 3 hours more or less....from 10am to 13pm
Souther Thalanan: still haven't got it....from 13pm to 1am in the morning.....12 FRICKING HOURS WITHOUT A FRICKING DROP!!!!

I got the same experience for days and I even suspected my zenith was a fake goods. ^^; Are you sure your zenith is legit?

So far I've gotten two. My first took around 8 hours and the second took 2 F.A.T.Es.

Pretty much the same here, longest took me 8-9 hours (not continous), and one i don´t even wanted dropped after 3 FATEs ^^

finally got my Scorpion atma last night after farming 12hs on Saturday and 10 hours Sunday.....fun time indeed lol

It took me 73 hours to find my 5th Atma. And yes by that I mean constant running from fate to fate during the counted hours.

I just want to say I got extremely lucky today. I just got Bravura Zenith yesterday and started Atma hunt today. On the very 1st FATE I did in Western La Noscea, I got the Atma of Crabs! I couldn't believe my luck. After that I went to Outer La Noscea and in 5 FATES, I got the Atma of Lion. I know that is just beginner's luck, but I know the next ones are going to be a Pain. I probably won't see another Atma in days.

Longest Time without atma was about 10 hours.

Fastest... 3 atma in one zone took under 10 FATEs... ... about 7 Minutes.

Yes. This "Quest" is broken.

I feel ya on this....I farmed Atma of the Goat in E.Shroud 3-4 hours a day for over 1 month...but check this...that Japanese Atma theory, there is def something to that. I farmed in the theorized time frame and bam..Goat dropped, also the last 4 I need I aalso farmed in the JPN theory timeframe and got all 4 w/o fail in the correct times. Everyone needs to look in to that..helped me out alot

I tried it. Tried it using server time, jp time, even local time. At least 3 hours each. 10 hours later I had 1 more atma.

Suffice to say, It seems more superstition than useful.

I still don't have even 1.

it is current Japan time only.....since its RNG its "not" guaranteed, but the theory is drop rates are significantly increased during respective times. try again using "JPN time"...lemme know how it goes bro...it definatly worked for me and countless others

Well like i said i did at least 3 hrs using non server jp time, and well... droprate was nil in that time. Then I go off and do my own thing, I get a drop within 5 fates. go fig.

Edit: yes, the zone i was in matched none of the aforementioned time zones.

I was using the JPN time Theory, and have been getting consistent atma gain
but I think that the theory is incomplete, i think there may be more to it than just the hour of the day.

Took me a month and over 200 FATEs, but I finally got that damn Atma of the Goat from East Shroud. And, I'm not sure whether to be thankful or annoyed with the RNG, but after I got that Atma I spent an hour in Central Thanalan and received the Atma of the Scales. Just need the last three in Thanalan, now...

I had a two days off work and spent the entire time (-sleep approx 40 hours) in east than and I still haven't got it!!!

I'm getting sick of east shroud, 10 days now,around 6 hrs a day, I don't know how many hundred fates I've done by now and still nothing..
Then someone in my FC says its better to rotate areas as drop rate will increase like that, so I go to north shroud and get in within 3 fates. I'll do west la noscea next then I'll go back to east shroud , maybe better luck this way

I haven't received an atma in 5 weeks after farming hours every day. This system is beyond broken.

I have done over 500 FATEs without a single item drop

118 hours to get my 4th.

Still not gotten my tenth yet, 16 hours and counting.

Upper La Nossca 1 month 2-3 hours a night during the week and 8+ on weekends. Now I'm working on my second set for another weapon at about 1 week on East Than same times.

Always feel like quoting Charlie Brown, "All I got is a rock", but that would be a good thing in this case! I have been extremely lucky thus far. I haven't spend more than an hour getting any one Atma stone. My best friend, on the other hand has done hours and hours and he's got one.

Dayum, I was doing what you are doing and got 4 so far. Then I felt really silly for not getting any these past 3 days and farmed.. still none.

Been farming 1-2 hours nearly every day since 2.2 launched. Only 4 Atma to show for it. Poor and lazy design to have RNG dictate progression :/

312 fates in East Shroud over the course of several weeks. Eventually I started throwing these keys away (probably 20 or so).
Anyone who says the system isn't broken can go f*** themself.

In no way should it take 100 or more FATES to get 1 Atma shard. If the odds are 1/100, then after 99 FATES it should be guaranteed. None of this 300+ FATES nonsense.
The only luck part should've been whether you get an Atma on the first try, or the hundredth. Like what were they thinking?

Longest ATMA drop, 10 hours + (Continuous farming- only sip of water) - I still remember i said, " This ATMA RNG is SO BRUTAL !"

drop rate maybe around 2-5% ? or lower ?

I haven't kept track of time but I have kept an approximate count of FATES completed while wearing a Zenith weapon. Over 800 fates complete and 4 stones to show for it.
Since it takes approximately 3 minutes crush a fate and 2 more minutes to wait for the next fate to popup, I have been farming approximately 11 fates per hour. So, 800 / 11 = 72 Hours give or take.
RNG is hell, when the dice always comes up snake eyes.

The drop rate is going to be doubled in the next patch, hopefully my luck will turn soon.

Two of my friends were doing fates up by Camp Overlook for Atma of the Lion for a good 4 hours. Friend 1, a dragoon got nothing. Friend 2, a healer class, got 4 atma of the Lion. Nobody else was doing those fates. Seems to me once you have a specific atma you should not be able to get another, let alone 4, while the only other participant gets zilch...

hows the ATMA drop rate like after 2.4patch... any input here ? planned to start ATMA farm for my secondary JOB/Class.

I've been stuck in Western La Noscea for 2.5 hrs now waiting for the atma of the crabs to drop. With all these fates being cleared out quickly with rogue parties & im also clearing out the sahagin fates whenever the aleport/swiftperch ones run dry.

At this rate it doesn't seem as if they increased the drop chances at all :<

Spent 1.5 hours doing fates last night, got 3 stones. Huzzah for increased drop rate.
