I'm fairly certain Yugiri is a Miqo'te.

some ppl sell some items at or below vendor trash just to help out and not be these greedy money grubbing backstabbing players who would sell everything including their grandmother for the top value possible + 200% or sometimes too all they want is to level and make a 99 stack of something then just sell it quick to get rid of it. I do this a lot my self. has nothing to do with being competitive...Ill post huge amounts of low lvl mats that iv collected doing w/e for vendor price just to help ppl out. stop being greedy...
anyways I'd like to see materia and crafting being more useful in raid dungeon type gear, say crafters could add sockets up to 3 per chest/legs/2Handed weapons; 2 per hat/gloves/feet/1Handed weapons; 1 per accessories and off hand items. weapons could give elemental dmg to enemies, all other sockets could be stats considered non primary for ex. plds could slot some piety or elemental resistance but not vit str ect in to craft sockets. if elemental resistance is used and its the same type ie fire could radiate a soft fire aura and the same for weapons. This is just a quick rough draft but this could give raiders that reason to have a craft especially if only you could do it to your own armor and not anyone else's.
No 24 man parties please. CT is way too easy because there are so many players.
Good ideas OP, but 8 man parties are more fun.
She's currently using the miqo'te skeleton/animations (pretty sure), however her race is definitely Not Miqo'te. Her tail is scaley first of all. Her ears are far longer and... droopy? Also, in the story quests involving her when asked about her getup she explains that basically she doesn't want to cause a ruckus based on her appearance when they need help atm. Since people fear that which they don't know/understand.
Hell NO! CT may be easy but it's hella fun. I love the whole alliance of 3, 8 ppl parties. In addition, as easy as CT is, it's also easy to screw it up. I'm sure as they add more CT it'll also continue to get harder. Especially given the current CT is the very first n all that ;P
wow seriously?? who says that the ppl trying to make some gil are "greedy money grubbing backstabbing players"? who says im being greedy? I spend alot of gil on the boards and in turn i hope to make a lot more, if i was greedy i wouldnt spend any money. FYI great MMO's have a good economy.
The problem is that the game gives a rather poor explanation of how to check market prices and historic prices when putting things for sale. Atleast I didn't know for quite a while that I could check that.
I will put things up for prices depending on my time and effort needed, price history and what my own investment was to get to that point. Does that mean I undercut or inflate my prices no. I look at the prices and usually go for the lower to middle tier with most mats. Especially base mats(ore, wood, mats).
And I agree with Valthein that it's good to put stuff on the MB even at NPC prices. Why? Money needs to flow not remain static. And to flow it's better if it goes to players and circulates between them then to go into gil sinks.
It would also flow if people set the price 10 gil above what they would get by selling it to a npc, not 10 gil under it.
Prices that are lower than a NPC would give you are for me crashed prices. The seller make loss, the buyer make profit with selling it to a NPC.
Thanks for responding to that Camate... does this also mean that we will have a separate storage specifically for housing materials? My retainer keeps coming back with a LOT of housing stuff that I really wish I could save until personal housing gets implemented. However, I usually end up selling almost all of them due to lack of storage space
I apologize if this has been posted before as I only skimmed the thread.
1. Set bonuses for gear.
2. Something akin to heirloom gear from WoW
3. dressing room feature
4. item comparison
5. the ability to hide accessories
6. More UI customization. I want to be able to see %s of party members and targets.
7. auto-sort and auto-stacking of inventory and bank slots
8. Some type of AA or paragon system.
most people your talking about post raw materials. You can post 123 star and materia most of all for huge amounts of gil plus crafting gear, gathering gear, crafted relic weapons. So yes complaining about unfair market prices on a mass surplus of items or someone just wanting to get rid of something for w/e reason is just greed. It's like you selling pepsi for a 1.50 then I still make profit selling it for 88 cents to make money.why should someone be forced to post an item at a set price if its theirs.May as well tell a person they're playing wrong and then tell them how to play their character.b/c hey every other person knows exactly whats best for that person to be doing.
That is taking far to long to have such an increase in storage space. Right now the FCs are having trouble with managing the space given to them to the point that only certain people are allowed to deposit items and mostly just raiders are being allowed so lots of problems with the current space and needs to be increased quickly and soon.
most of that would be great, I disagree on heirloom type gear. That was one thing that turned wow in to world of raiding, never seen a need to rush right to the end lvl content and then ppl complain about being bored with nothing to do but dailies and raid. before you say its a choice to wear it or not, its something that would effect the whole game and community. You would see less people doing lower level events even if it is in the roulette system, you already see ppl complaining about being bored nothing to do. Crazy how ppl are already complaining about that when there is so much already
If someone is stupid enough to put the price up lower than npc would give who cares, let their stupidity benefit others, and you want to stop that?
This wasn't something that I was thinking should be put in any time soon. I was thinking that years from now when the whatever expansion is coming out and players are trying to level yet another class/job without the assistance of quests or the masses zerging fates, the process can seem very intimidating.
still a problem no matter the length of time though, even with the heirloom gear in wow that was implemented so late in the game it just ruins everything. crafting would become pointless except end level and it still hurts even there, you would have that oh I don't need to craft/buy gear every 10 levels or farm for that weapon I have heirloom that just scales with w/e lvl I'm at you would have ppl harassing other players for being "noobs" and not have full loom gear and that's just a few problems.
In all aspect heirloom gear was the worst thing wow ever did. so now because of them pushing people in to end game raids and shoveling it down their throats getting players in to that mindset they now have to offer players insta max character with a quick 5 min over view of your character. remember true tier talent trees from LK where you could have kick-ass hybrids and w/e option. ya they dumb down the game so much b/c of all this its now you leveled ding! pick 1 of these skills and 1 of these skills cuz you dinged again. Sad really when a game has to scale down to accommodate the unthinking player, sorry getting off topic. anyways w/e date down the line I still feel heirlooms are just bad overall
I just want new jobs. :(
Sign me up for the new jobs with everyone else, but my current question is about mounts: While I'm sure there are plenty in the works, do you plan to make any more "flying" mounts like the Ahriman/Bomb mounts? I personally would enjoy riding a giant hawk (or Roc, or similar type large raptor), or even an Allagan themed mount like an ADS!
As an abstraction of the mount idea, how about the Float spell from FFXII as a "mount"? Just as your character levitates during Teleport/Return, you'd instead proceed to float and move at the speed a mount would normally carry you. How about it?
the only way you could safely implement heirloom gear with an exp. bonus is if it was crafted with a pre req of 1 lvl 50 already. the gear was class MAYBE stat specific so it would only be good for one or two classes. The xp bonus is say .5% per main armor piece, so it equals out to something like 3% xp bonus. Then materia slots between 2 to 4 slots pending armor slot head/hands/chest ect... remove/destroy materia as you level up to 50 so you could put stronger materia melds on the gear. Base stats should be on par with white gear so materia boosts it up to green level or crafted HQ. With a major spin-off of the RNG learning from a book, you would always get a recipe unlike atma's but RNG would decided what you get. THEN maybe just maybe it could work
in all reality though with food, fc buffs, rest xp, all the bonus xp from doing things the first time through, even the helms for lvls 1 to 10 its just so easy already to level that we don't even need heirloom gear even if you were leveling multiple characters like I play around with here and there. what would benefit players above all else is if we could mail crafted gear to our friggin other characters, I have all crafts to 50 really not trying to do that again on all of the others I like to play.
