I'd be impressed if SE at one point made an allaghan set for DPS casters that looked like a suit+top hat for males and a formal dress for females. Wonder if they're willing to put the hours to make it happen.

Elin armor was actually censored for the US release to be fair. It too was basically all panties.


And I like that new set.

It looks like crafted gear. I saw like three or four different colored variations of it. I love the hatter motif, though I'll most likely still run with the harlequin look over anything~

And there are decensor patches to revert the lazy copy-paste plaster job EME did to try to cover up decently designed armor, which I prefer. Some outfits do look better with the shorts, but the shorts themselves are so ugly and lazily-made that I'd rather all armor look like it did originally than deal with those ugly shorts.

But I digress.

I can't even imagine this set on my Rogaedyn, i will be horrible :(

The MNK one looks like the Chocobo Rider uniform, but colored red which is supposed to be a vanity item. We won't know anything until the 27th and beyond.

No seriously, while the tutu on females may be a bit much, I think it's a welcome interesting fashion statement, as shown in various other references in this thread. I know I will be dyeing each piece a different shade of purple, if possible. If I don't like how a particular piece of the set looks, guess what isn't being glamoured?

And for those moaning over this set; good. Don't wear it. More special snowflaking for the rest of us. I shall strut around in most of the set while listening to this:

I gave the primal gear a pass because whatever, it looks like it came from the enemy, sure. Allagan gear comes from an ancient era where everything was spiky and glowy. Weird but okay.

If you're allowed to strawman other people's positions I'm allowed to say people who are against it feel like some really sad "my immersion!" types who want to tell others how to dress.

But these are just our opinions, and the only ones who actually get to say with authority what is and isn't kosher in this setting is the devs, who made these outfits.

This gear set almost makes sense for Black Mage, but for Summoner..? Summoning carbuncles ≠ pulling rabbits out of hats.
