Rank 6 and 7 vet reward!

I thought the other stuff was cool, like the Odin pet and WoL minion/barding. Its not like the ticket is the only sub item.

Is there a start date on these? I just hit Rank 6 according to MogStation, but I only got the R5 rewards.

Same, though they haven't sent my Rank 5 rewards yet either. But like we've mentioned a few times in the thread:

"The Rank 6 rewards will probably come out in patch 2.2 as the Aetheryte Ticket doesn't exist in the Lodestone or FF Database yet."

I'm more curious to find out how the ticket works than anything else. If you're currently in-game, you have to log out and back in to get the (R5) reward.

mogstation says i have rank 6. but i just logged in game and the only mail i got gave me rank 5 rewards (country leader minions and behemoth, my subs just renewed today)
are the rank 6 and 7 rewards not given out yet?

I remember we had same discussion with the Fantasia potion...
You know back then yoshi-p himself answered all questions and given detailed examples how the Fantasia potion is working, just wait for Live letter...

Think these are the worst 'rewards' so far. No I don't feel entitled to them and I know they are bonuses, but come on. I was hoping for another Fantasia seeing as they are taking so long making that optional service available. (And losing money because of it) And tbh since these rewards ARE so crappy, fantasia would have been a viable, lazy option for them.

The Wind-Up Odin is pretty awesome. The aetheryte ticket... substandard, I think. Even though I don't use Fantasias, I would have liked another Fantasia instead of the ticket. I'd think, for a year's worth of subscription time, there'd be something a little more substantial there.

Though I must say. The Minion of Light and the Barding of Light? Love it!

I'm %99.9 sure that the item itself is "one time use" or "consumed upon use" just like the minion or mount descriptions say. Meaning, you use it once and you get the ability/key item/whatever to teleport for free. Always.

Otherwise the reward will be a huge laughing-stock and SE would be probably aware of that.

Normally I would think that's the case (and if it was, it would actually be worthy of the 360-day veteran reward), but I'm just concerned that it's not the case. Hopefully Yoshida can clear it up in the next Live Letter, because it does sound really concerning.

To me it sounds really silly, but the overall tone of the ticket text in the other translations certainly suggest it's a one time use item. Which would be absurd and borderline insulting as a reward compared to the previous rewards, but it would hardly be the first time a company offered a loyalty reward that came across as tone-deaf and clueless. i'm looking forward to having it clarified as well.

any timeline for the activation?
actually they are not listed in the mogry station

and anyone knows if SE planed to be setup the "no more than 180 days subscribe" to higher max days?

Ppl are giving too much crap about this aetheryte ticket. So what if it's turn out to be 1 time use only ticket? It's not like earning gil are that hard (hint: TH).
As for me, I'm keeping it positive that it'll enable us to tele free, permanently. :D

Though I'd like to think there was more to this than a free tele at 500gil max, I don't think so. Note on the lodestone where it's visible, it SPECIFICALLY says it is "consumed upon use." If it were like the other items--use once to activate permanently--I doubt it would specify.

You do realize that all mount & minion item were also "consumed upon use" right? And then we get them permanently, remember?

The least it should be is the same 'deal' as the free teleport they're giving away to entice people to buying a 'security token', but a one-time teleport as part of a 'thank you' package for subbing a year is just ... WTF?

Understand me, I don't look for 'loyalty' gifts as I don't feel entitled to them (though the Legacy chocobo was very nice :) ), but when such schemes are put in place then putting stuff like this which seems to be causing universal derision is really taking the p...

Looking good besides the one time teleport ticket which is just LOL. For 2 years subscription I'd like to have a potion of Ether. Not Mega Ether, I don't wanna be too demanding but an Ether potion would ROCK.

Like people said I believe it is a "one time" item to reduce forever to 0 gil :)

In one year you spent enough on porting, and there are and will be other ways to spend gil.

What teleports cost 500?

When I logged on this morning the flashing banner said free teleport (s?) For "one-time-password token" users. Pretty sure it has a picture of the digital token.

Still not sure what it all means just what I seen quickly

* In the event your one-time password has been deactivated, teleporting to your destination will incur a gil fee. Furthermore, your free location cannot be changed while your one-time password is deactivated.

Install token on smartphone. Activate it. Login to XIV & designate 1 favorite spot for free tele (Wineport for coils). Log off XIV. Deactivate token service. Uninstall token software.

Mission accomplished. lol

If you deactivate the token, you have to start paying for teleports again. Its still $11 extra on top of your subscription. More money for SE.

The Tokens are not $11 a month though. It's a one-time fee for the physical Security Token (if you don't lose it.) Not to mention "Software Tokens" are FREE for Smartphones; which does exactly the same thing. Gives you One-Time Passwords to use.

Tokens are free man, for iOs and Android..
