Can we have an option to have the old red ground AOE markers back.

The newer AoE animations I like but the colour isn't as striking to me compared to red, plus when you're on uneven ground (I had it happen in Copperbell HM) and the AoE marker doesn't properly form overground then it's hard to see it but when it was Red you could still see it easier.

SE, just do this:

Choice of Color
Slider for Contrast
Slider for Opacity

That would require them to increase the size of our save files slightly. I bring this up not as a reason not to do it, since it's a good way to handle it, but as a reason they might not. They already said our save files are huge and they used that as a reason not to give us some other options.

I hear you, I think it's slight enough it's not a problem... even just any one of those three versus all three would suffice.

Came to post this, found it, liked. This is the solution and will be an incredible quality of life thingy to have arround.

The red markers were ugly (IMO) XO Love the new ones with the wave effect.

Idm giving red as option but keep current ones, I like!

Also, it'd be silly to make it save server-side. It only affects the player that's playing and not other players, so might as well add it to the exportable "offline" options. It will save on the player's PC and SE's servers save file will stay untouched.

I am partially red/green colorblind, and I can see the new markers much better in water now. I have yet to fight in sand or snow, so I can't speak for those. On another note; I feel that they should have an option for people to switch them back.

I play on ps3 and see them just fine, and also see them just fine on ps4

and if anything sometimes parts of the AOE indicators end up going below the ground cause it is uneven or something and you can see it

I would like to get the old red color back + keep the "slide" effect within the marker that it has now.

Red just makes the most sense for what it's signifying (danger zone, don't stand here)

Take a guess to which color you have a lose in visual acuity in?

I see no reason why there can't be an option for which marker people would prefer to use. Or even an RGB color palette to choose from so that people can just fool with it until they find something they can easily see. Do I prefer the yellow-orange we have now? Sort of. I like the pulsing in it, as it makes it easier for me to notice it even if my attention is focused on something else. I say keep the pulsing, and just let people choose what color they want OR have an option to toggle between the yellow and red versions.

I don't see why the thread is getting slammed so hard with negativity. They're asking for an OPTION to have the red markers, not for SE to get rid of the new one. Options are good, guys.

Not that id be against many optional choices like these (the more the merrier usually), but how is a brighter, more saturated marker with moving parts harder to see than a more transparent, darker and static one? You could actually miss the red one if you werent looking for one or paying attention ... this new one grabs my attention and says "look at me!," lol. The only way itd be more effective is if moving flashing arrows starting pointing at it with a high pitched sound.

Im surprised this has become an issue for some people.

I never missed the red one, but I have missed the orange one.

how? it just is. how am I supposed to explain that. I would much prefer the old red one.

Reason they changed it because it was clearly had issues, once the BRD's flaming arrow lands, its invisible. Not only that, the new one is actually easier to see and stands out as a sort of "3D ish"... the old red seems like a 2D stain.
