The point was all classes but pugilist have instant ranged abilities without a cd. I'll repeat the important part. Instant. No cd. Whm doesn't need aero to perform its role. It also doesn't need it to solo. Scathe is mostly useless unless you're running for long periods. Piercing talons is pretty useless but lnc has it. I won't touch on mrd anc or gld because theirs actually serve a purpose. I guess this is all to deep and I have to explain it.

Except that people do use those abilities.

You want a ranged attack because other classes have it? Cross-class provoke and virus. Not all jobs should have access to everything. That's bland and boring.

The fact they are used is moot to the argument I was making. Also provoke and virus have a cd so are not viable to the point. You're correct about the bland and boring IF all classes used the abilities in their rotations. There is nothing game altering about giving pug thier version of piercing talon.

no is clearly a bug exploit, you can say it's like spineshatter and all, your action must make you move. if you force the game to hit the target while not moving... you are bypassing the role of the action, exploiting a bug into the skill. since, normally you must be close of the enemy for touch it (it's a shoulder attack after all)...exept if you can...throw your shoulder (yerks!)

about spineshatter, the only time where it did happend, was in demon wall, where it was making you avoid the bump... but it's still bugging one time on three.

Clearly its a bug when you are up against a wall, do Elusive Jump and get the emnity down and break bind/heavy right? Because you totally didn't move but got the same effect.


Pssst. Not a bug. Its how the game engine works. Abilities that have ADDED EFFECT MOVEMENT still do their other effects in the case that you can't move.

wait, you are comparing an action that jump back against a wall with an action done behind a wall for avoid to move and hit a target at range? seriously?
