How about Titan XY?

Titan HM took me 1 2 weeks before I managed to find a good DF party to clear. Titan EX took me close to 2 months before I finally mastered the rotation and found a good party in DF ^^v
And yes.... ! I just cleared using duty finder weeeeeee!!!

Not that it's a content wall, it's just that people can't do Titan. It's amazing how there are still so many people who can't complete Titan HM in one go now >.>. Vote Abandon is such a great feature. Just need to DF a good group, I wish we could run continuously with great groups :(.

Titan EX is possibly one of the most aggravating, difficult fights in FFXIV. If any member of the team is deficient, your chances at winning go down the toilet. Slow DPS are especially annoying. iLv67 is a joke, especially for tanks. You need every bit of HP you can get in this fight because mistakes WILL happen and you NEED that buffer unless you are absolutely PERFECT in dodging bombs, plumes, and trust your healers to spam Medica during stomps.

Pretty much Titan can be divided into two phases: EZmode and extreme mode. I've lost count of the number of times SHTF at Gaolers and bombs at the same time. People panic. They eat bombs, then it's a wipe, and we don't even reach superbombs.

But failing so many times and winning makes the taste of victory that much sweeter. Never lose hope, OP. You can do it. Just pray to the gods that some skilled FC is running it but is short a member.

Also, don't forget to zoom your camera out!

I finally got the Titan Extreme kill today. It was 4 weeks coming. Don't give up it can be done.

I know the feeling. I had to be "that guy" out of my circle of friends to ditch them and get the clear on my own. I was nearly perfect (I'm whm) on my end, it's just my friends would never improve or give up after wiping a few times.

I had to eventually do it on my own and got my kill. Did Ifrit ex about 4 tries in and won. Sometimes it's not you. Even if you are perfect you still need 7 others to do their job. To much room for error.

... and despite being ridiculously hard, it is ridiculously well designed as a fight. Kudo's to the team who came up with it. None of the mechanics are an instant wipe if you lack the psychic ability to see the future, and they give you the opportunity to react if you think fast enough. The one mechanic that can wipe people is the stomp, but it comes early enough in the fight that after everyone dies to it once, everyone gets what to do.

8 years and I'm still at it. This game is nuts

Keep trying OP. Friend those people that are good. Join LS with good players in primals and you'll eventually get the kill.

I myself thought I'd never beat it, but alas 2 weeks ago got my first kill and this week had him on farm mode (yay finally got my fending earring). After getting killed over a 100 times his rotation got burned in my memory. I love that fight.

This fight's not that hard. It is simply a pattern for multiple phases. Once you know the pattern for each phase, it's laughable.

The real crappy part is having one or two bottlenecks in your party though. However, you have to be willing to replace them if necessary to complete this instance. You cannot carry or be carried in this fight like in Titan HM.
