BTW - If you use

You'll be able to have the proper icons show up now. :)

I'm sort of agreeing with Ninix on this one. Seems very very odd to me that you have things like food right there on the center of your screen, when that space could have been occupied but things like cooldowns, which would be something you would actually want to monitor during battle.
This isn't an issue of us trying to tell you, that you're a nubbin' for using the setup like this... but it would improve your game if you spent your close to center buttons on something useful.
Just my 2 cents

This is possible due to a Logitech G600, which has 12 buttons operating as the number pad on the side, with a third button on the mouse acting as a pseudo shift. Pretty much the left side is 1-4 and the 12 buttons on the side of my mouse, while the right side is the 12 buttons with the third button. 1-4 is alt, but I usually just click it for ease. In the middle are cooldowns I keep extra track of. I also like keeping as much information as possible within a small range. I haven't had any problems seeing aoe indicators.
1-4: Basic healing spells.
Line 1: Group wide.
Line 2: Pet commands.
Line 3: Attack spells and debuffs.
Ctrl 1: Attack spells with embrace healing target's target.
Ctrl 2: Res Macros.
Ctrl 3: Rarely used but still needed on occasion.
Here's mine. I'm constantly making changes until I feel 100% comfortable with it.

look at all the pretty colors from acheron fight lol

You can always improve your game ;) Stagnating because you think you're "good enough" only makes it harder to get in gear when a new content patch hits :)
I am not saying it is anything major, I am just saying.. the space could have been used better, and you should consider it. If you take the advice is all up to you.

Tried to fit in everything relevant there, though optimally I would have been in a full party etc. so you could see the LB. Basically, I've tried to make mine include everything possible that I'd want, and more, but without any clutteredness or having too little space there, as it were. Have worked my keybinds in such a way that everything works well for me (no clicking of skills or hard to reach -binds) and that I have everything I might or might not need at hand easily. E4E, virus and Swiftcast macros are to announce the cast, don't use any other macros to play. (The ones above the markers etc. being fun/utility macros). I personally like this setup a lot (obviously), haven't changed it in ages.

Here we are ..... Keybinds are just personal preference and whats easy for my hand since i use a razor naga mouse.... party list is front and center for obvious reasons ... the vertical hotbar in the mid is there simply for easier visual for CDs
No one with a controller posting their HUD? D:
And here I wanted to steal ideas.

Anyway that's mine, I am mainly a bard though and I usually click on stuff past the cure III, and I don't press F1-5 on my WHM it's just there for my DPS skills on SCH for now >>
Getting a controller soon so it'll change then, because let's face it dragging my mouse everywhere and click all my skills isn't efficient at all... and I dodge better with a controller too.
(And that is a very ugly omnirod...)
Where's the Swiffer!? Messy HUDs everywhere D:
The 2 Larger hotbars are all clickables. My pet bar goes right above those 2, just didn't have time to log in and take a screenshot of my SCH.
The 3 smaller hotbars are clickables as well, with the exception of the middle one. Those are the numbers. They are all tied to my Razer Naga with mouse over macros. I also put Ruin 2 there when on my SMN for easy use while moving.
CT raid windows go where the Quest list is, just over it.

This is my current setup. Obviously everyone plays differently and I click on my Party list. Hud setup is the next one down.

Been through many changes but I'm happy with my current setup.
As for DPS spells I use the LT+RT combination

In LT + RT I have singe target spells and in RT + LT AoE ones (and both medicas for those "oh no" situations.)
And Here's my HUD setup.

Oh no you didn't! :P
I am working on it lol, It takes 8 to kill Twintania you know ;) But I am always trying to improve, just because I didn't kill Twintania yet doesn't mean I stagnated. My raid group has just plateued. We've had to replace 3-4 members the last month or so... :(
This thread really makes me long for an option for a much smaller party window... Maybe something like the CT alliance window? Just HP bars =P Healer is not my main so I heal with my DPS layout @__@
I flip flop between PLD and SCH, so I don't monkey much with my HUD. The only thing I do is move the party list just to the left of my avatar when doing SCH. If we could save mult HUD layouts now...
This is mine. http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/...7-13_00002.jpg
I've tried to go for the minimal type of set-up. The side vertical bar changes if you click the bottom number, so here you can see my battle classes if you click on it it hides that bar and replaces the bar with the one that has my gathering classes.
Good thread I've gotten some ideas. Thanks for sharing!
Such little love for PS4 on here, figure I better contribute. You PC players are so spoiled, how nice it must be to have a million actions all at your fingertips! Try on PS4 sometime if you want a challenge :)
This is how I've always had mine set up, find it works well for me this way. Mots things are pretty standard other than being resized to be smaller. I keep the party list off centre in the middle like that so it's easy to see what's going on, as the default for it is awful. Enemy list is similar just smaller, and I keep the focus target right on top of the party list which works well. My spells are off centre to the left a bit, and I put my own status buffs etc just on top of the chat. Most things have just been made smaller from the default which is pretty big. Not sure how my friend plays on PS3 at 720p, the party list is literally the whole side of the screen covering the enemy list.

Always found it weird when people would have ugly perfect grids of hotbars... So I have my main hotbars offset from each other a bit.
The "cancel" hotkeys on the right side toggle hotbars below them, party list, duty list and the exclamation turns off map, exp bar, status bar, hp-mp-tp bar and horizontal hotbars.
I use the Razer Orbweaver keypad, I have real easy access to all of my spells. Only problem with it is that I have one key I'm not using at all D:(
Things are spaced out quite a bit more than a lot of other people, it seems.
Kinda bothers me when everything is all cramped up together.

Are there any recent Healer UI's that people would like to add on here? :-)
Sure thing. Here's mine:

Here is a link to mine. I can't get the image to post here! All my other UI elements are hidden and key bound so that I may toggle them on and off when needed.

Attempt to keep things minimal. Will try to move party list. Too far into the middle.
G600 mouse (think naga x2) to inspire main skill @ bottom left.

I don't understand why so many healers, even those with "minimalistic" HUD setup, keep parameters bar visible.
For my HUD, it is right beneath my mana regen CD in addition to my other major CDs I am monitoring. It is a quick visual reminder of where I am at while taking note of everything else throughout the fight-- also, I don't have my party bars showing when solo and when I play different jobs I look at the party bars much less. Do you play with your party bar showing 24/7? Do you toggle it each time you change jobs?
Always on. I think its better when your hp/mp bar is always at the same place. Yes, you don't stare at party list that much when on a different job - but it's useful anyway.
Debuff control for tank swapping, mp/tp for songs etc.

The fairy skills changes depending on which I summon at the time.
My only real input is to make use of /focustarget and keep it near your party list ("/assist <2>; /focustarget" is a handy macro for focusing the first tank's target). Getting caught in the heat of battle and missing important mechanics (pacify for instance) or tank busters can put you in a bind. With HUD layouts and efficiency I think wether you're a mouse, keyboard, or controller dominant user will effect the importance of positioning. I'm partial to controller, but also have one large hotbar for clicks and cooldown watch, and keybinds for less commonly used skills (rez for instance). my party list stays in the upper lefthand with alliance below it, focus target and enemy targets to the right of it.
