Careful this thread might get deleted! (seems to be alot of that going around today)

I gave the game one last shot. Spent 7 hours today on titan EM... on top of the 3+ hours before. The results of 10+ hours with various people fighting titan extreme?

6 deaths before official wipe and 2 of those caused a wipe. Other then that I was generally the last person standing (not counting people jumping off for quick restart). I have seen the "superbomb" once. As dps I was number 1 or 2 on damage, as tank I never died/did anything stupid/lost agro/let co-tank die.

Long story short... I am done. Left my coil group, said my goodbyes and gave away anything of value. Good luck with FFXIV. Wish it would have lasted longer. :(

Nobody's prefect. I had my bad shares with partying with others.

I had a horrible time fighting titan because I had some problems concerning with a mixture of lag and inexperienced players.

But you know what I did? I gave everyone second chances and explained the fight to them. Though a couple of wipes and deaths, we finally beat titan right down to the last minute. Everyone was happy in the end

Long story short, give everyone second chances. If u fail, u give them another chance til u beat them! :D

It seems like you dont have much patience.

It may be hard to do but that in itself isnt reason enough to leave, wait it out, see what changes happen and new content that is added.

Well. I am not the type to usually jump ship. Usually I can entertain myself with something ; be it exploring,alts,crafting,playing the MB for profit, or Pvp. Usually I will Find something to do to sate my desire for content. The fact of the matter is that there is no end-game content here. For those of you that play leisurely, sure; it may feel like there is a semblance of content in the game. The whole 1% argument is entirely invalid in general as that statistic doesn't take into account a bevy of different factors. A lot of players are also completionists, which is fine to me because normally I am as well, but is no supplication to endgame (especially when half of what there is to do is all but nearly pointless and seemingly a time sink ((DoH//DoL)). Now I'm sure I'm bound to get flamed to high-heaven for my opinion but I have been around the block with MMO's and would like to think that I have a decent understanding of when one exhibits potential.

I'm not saying I'm the ruling authority on what's fun because that is very subjective. Staying power is everything in MMO's. Now! that is not exclusive to endgame raiding or just a single aspect in general, but pertains to all aspects of the game. Endgame raiding consists of 3 washed out primal fights and 4 coils bosses...and will have been that way for a year by time anything new is released. I do not count CT as anything other than a pinata as every instance of CT I have ever done has been so easy I could literally just not pay attention the entire time and still get stuff out of it. It's implementation was just later. That is the only way I can really describe it for me anyways (me being the key word) The PvP is fun but not incredibly involved and the lack of individualism from builds just adds to the boring factor of any one job. You have everything everything that every other WhM of 50 has, with the exceptions of cross class abilities (which arent that crazy to acquire). The loot is bland and generic, easy to get, and becoming seemingly just sonething they think anyone with a few hours a week should have. I dunno. I cancelled my sub. I want something more involved, in all areas. There isnt any one area of the game that I'm thrilled about. The only reason that I do still play is for my coils static but aside from that I dont log on anymore as I just find myself running in circles in revenants toll for an hour being bored out of my mind.

I am not trying to be rude but... something every player should do is take and learn the fights, practice makes perfect. This will help in the long but but at the same time players also not be rude to each other. There are party finder practice groups all the time, take advantage of them.

A little initiative goes a long way on all players. Recently my FC has taken step to ensure that players do just that. Was it needed yes, has it helped yes. The only one that can help you is your self, other players can only do so much to help the rest is up to the individual player/s. Do they like it probably not but players should not except other players to carry them thru a fight/s. In the end if those players are carried they are no use to anyone later on, so it is best to learn this stuff now than later.

I dunno, I actually met some pretty good pugs where I eventually made a pretty good LS for us to do primals together with. Nowadays we 1-shot any primals anytime we want. It's all about effort and social skills and lets be honest, it only takes a few right clicks.
