I was really excited about 2.1 but the amount of content it added just isn't enough. CT a few times a week at most doesn't do much.

I would love to farm Ultima/EX for their drops on my alts but at this point there is only really two options. Join the FC with lots of good players where half of them are the most vile humans you can find or play with lots of friendly people that absolutely cannot handle it.

I get the feeling there is going to be a lot of people running into this exact problem. There is a massive jump in difficulty from t4/HMs to t5/EM. I have run into similar problems in other games but usually there is a bit more room to carry/overgear content so that it can be done with people at a lower skill level. In their current forms T5/titan EM can't be beat with more than one or two bad players and even then it depends on what their role is and everyone else in the group must be very good to pull it off. Taking 3+ people through those fights if they are average skill level is pretty much impossible.

I love FF and was having fun for a while here but there just isn't any reason to stick around. For the very casual and those into hardcore asshatery I think FFXIV ARR is great but for the rest of us I am not so sure.

Not trying to sound like a jerk, but if you're not having fun, you're probably better off taking a break from the game anyways. 2.1 was a backwards patch with CT so this was to be expected. I'd suggest waiting to check out 2.2 when they announce it to see if the direction of the game is going where you'd like it.

Some people take it the wrong way and assume they're being told to stop complaining and quit. Can never be too careful with words.

CT could have kept me busy for ages had they not decided to cap loot. Would have given me a chance to play lots of jobs and roles every week... Also how is telling someone to take a break being a jerk?

There's no vile humans in my FC and I'm sure there's plenty of people that can claim the same. You just need to look for a good one.

Small server.. there isn't any... I have looked. And how many people does your FC have that can clear t5/EM without wiping over and over? I have found very few FCs that have more than 8 people that can do this content with a low failure rate that also isn't full of terrible people.

With an attitude like that, you'll have difficulty finding a Free Company at all, as it sounds like you're just looking to be carried along. Find an FC with nice people, and work on Coil with them, help create the win, Don't just expect it to be handed to you.

Sorry but I do most of the carrying. I refuse to spend hours attempting simple content because people cant be bothered to not stand in the bad stuff. And no I don't have trouble finding FCs. I have been an Officer and/or raid leader in every guild in every MMO I have played. I also formed/lead my current coil group which has been farming t1-4 for two months now.

I am sorry but EM primals are not hard and I just don't have the time to watch people make the same stupid mistake 10 times in an hour. I don't like being mean to people and I would rather just not play with people that keep up then have to explain to them they are bad and kick them out.

You just contradicted yourself! You call the Extreme modes a great jump and then bash those new to the endgame about making mistakes? Well dude I hope you never make a mistake in your life cause you will be highly disappointed with the results!

Sounds like you got the boot from other FC's about your behavior. Not everyone is as good as you or others in endgame content, people now a days throw away any social interaction. I'm glad during my entire run in FFXI and WoW (up till a few months after Burning Crusade) that I had some fun and exciting times with even when we died multiple times in raids/dungeons. Alot of those Guys/Gals Im friends with and a few in my guilds ending up getting married!

T5 difficulty will go down when the next Turns are released. The Extreme Modes seems undoable to me right now...I don't know what I'm going to do. I still need to get the King down and Ultima down...still have not been able to do that yet.
I would not give up man....I think you will miss it.
