I cannot correct you with 100% certainty, but I do believe that it is not "Doom Train" but rather the "Phantom Train" (or a similar name) being used by the Garleans. I recall laughing at the similarity in names.

Final Fantasy XIV: Primal fight simulator! Please look forward to it! :p
Somehow I am getting a bad feeling about all this...
What is in the Center there?
Who is dealing with Those Summons?
Why is the white Ascian helping us?
Where do we build our new base?
The answer is always leading to the same, they need us in the middle!
Soon all is set into place for the big revival of the Evil God...
***** Maybe Spoilers *****
What is in the Center there? Crystal tower, Xandes, The Scions of the 7th Dawn, Blond Haired guy, and Bahaumat???.
Why is the white Ascian helping us? He didnt show up till we entered Crystal Tower right? (Really dont remember but was he locked away in CT and the player unlocked him?)
Where do we build our new base? Mor Dhol - the center of it all near Silvertear Falls.
This seems like its going to be the focal point of how the game is going. Maybe also where we will see Zodark (sp?)
People forgot 1.0s opening already? What's at the center there? Maybe that scene where a certain airship crashed into a lake and released all the Primals?
The Ascian in White, I forget his name, but he's not helping, nor is he hindering the Scions(and by extent, you), he's a diplomat, he's trying to basically persuade you over to the Ascian cause rather than killing you like Lahabrea. And no, he's not tied to the Crystal Tower, he pops up during the whole moving the Scions to Mor Dhona quest line.
How many of these people played 1.0? And iirc the airship crash didn't release the primals, but the one guardian dragon did die.
The crash destroyed a seal, fairly sure that much was confirmed in lore.
I'd guess that it's just where Hydaelyn is. All things Hydaelyn/Echo related started when the seal was broken. The Ascians plan to use Hydaelyn to summon their God (summoning a God uses Crystals, what is Hydaelyn now? Us gathering the Crystals was all just a plan to weaken Hydaelyn by throwing Ultima at us), if Hydaelyn was sealed to prevent this, then it explains why the Echo/Hydaelyn started manifesting after the seal was broken. Hydaelyn is certainly central to the Ascians plans (why else would they help us empower her by obtaining the crystals?), so anyone who wanted to stop them (Allag) would have wanted to seal away Hydaelyn. Also, when we're in Mor Dhona at the end of 2.0, we get a flash of a darkened Hydaelyn.
The Primals were probably just being used to seal Hydaelyn there, rather than actually being sealed. When the seal was broken they no longer needed to be there, so they were freed from there too. Que Ascians/Paragons teaching the Beast Tribes how to summon them...
All true, it's been a while so I forgot much of that, but I also didn't play too much longer than I think... 6 months? Of 1.0
As far as the darkened Hydaelyn I'd attributed it to it being worn out from helping us with Ultima, as in needing time to recover it's energy.
But you're right, that could also be a flash of a possible future in which Hydaelyn is corrupted. I also do not believe to Ascians predicted us actually getting our hands on those crystals, as they never exactly seemed happy about us having them, but that could easily just be my take on it.
Primals weren't seal, they simply cannot be summonned if the world is at peace, with the destruction of an entire ship with millions of people and a lot of dragons, destroying all life Mor Dhona created enough Chaos to summon primals again, that's why Ascians can't summon Zodiark by the way, there isn't enough chaos in Eorzea to summon a Primal so powerful.
While the hexagon is really interesting...I'm not buying the Fenrir bit. They could certainly throw something out of left field, there's nothing to suggest him coming in the near future. But who knows, maybe one day. Musketeer would be nice, although that's more wishful thinking I suppose.
since i cant start new thread can anyone tell developers to :
make Freecompany buffs all passive i know they are stingy and want to keep subs but to make us log everyday just to cast buffs
The devs released a 3D render of Fenrir back in beta around the same time they revealed the Shiva and Ramuh models. Fenrir is indeed coming soon but we have zero info on it besides the model.
EDIT: With regards to the prophecy from Louisoix I'm fairly certain it's talking about the new entrance to Coil. The sheathed blade is the blade of dalamud that crashed in Coerthas and created the area we now call the Boulder Downs. Unsheathing it would be to dig it up and uncover the entrance. The crimson isn't blood like everyone thinks, but rather the crimson crystal that seems to have formed around the blade... the whole of the boulder downs is made of a giant crimson crystal that would be 'spilled' by whatever unearths the blade.
Bahamut will probably be introduced with the first expansion. I believe this because Ishgard might come into play with the expansion since it might get released early 2015. Also, going by the pattern SE will be releasing updates and the content in them, it makes it seem a bit obvious to me, but I could be wrong!
March 2014: 2.2 will have Coils update
June 2014: 2.3 will have Crystal Tower update
September 2014: 2.4 will have Coils update
December 2014: 2.5 will have Crystal Tower update
March 2015: Expansion is released. Coils updates are done and this expansion brings the story relating to Coils to a epic conclusion. In 2.4 we get to the very bottom of Coils and something happens to stir Bahamut from his slumber and we must fight him in the expansion. Perhaps each update gives us a new primal and the beastmen end up working together thanks to those Organization XIII dudes and summon their primals all at once to summon Fenrir at the center as Mr.Happy said, which in turn, end up summoning Bahamut.
Actually there was a large powerful Aether Seal in Silvertear Lake before the ship was destroyed. What purpose does the Seal serve remained unknown since that secret was lost with the people who created that Aether Seal whom were the Allagans. However, it seems destroying that Seal was part of the requirement to allow the Primals to appear in Eorzea.
You can still see the remains of the Aether Seal from Silvertear Lake as Purple Mists in Mor Dhona once in a while.
Hopefully the CT storyline will eventually reveal the secret of this Aether Seal in Silvertear Lake since CT is not only a Solar power plant for the Allagans but also a Storage for Allagan Knowledge.
You will be surprised how many people still do not know that the Primals were originally sealed in Silvertear Lake before the ship crashed on it thus breaking the seal that kept the Primals locked away there.
Off topic:
If you ask what is a Summoner to the Summoner trainer you will get a interesting lore about Primals. Before the Primals appeared in Eorzea the Allagan civilization encounted the Primals on another continent. Despite their advance technology they were being pushed back by the Primals summoned in that Continent so they went through a speical program to create new methods to fight Primals since they never encountered Primals before. Summoners and Ultima Weapon were only two of their creations when searching for a way to fight Primals.
